Cha gets young players back and can use Kanter as a salary dump for Batum

PF KP/Beas
C Noah/KOQ
I think that is play off team in the East, keep all our first rounders so we dont do anything stupid.
Resign KOQ 3/$36mm (guessing his open market value + he wants to be here NY native)
Resign Beas 2/$20mm (just over MLE)
Focus on drafting a wing if possible.
Takes you out of FA and the rosters upside is mostly based on guys like KP/Frank/Burke and who we draft. Also you do this if your preference is to keep KOQ over the other guys.
Makes us very small... but if Cha is in firesale mode and lets face it.. they arent the smartest franchise I think something like this might be possible if we are inclined.

Not sure if I would want to or not. Batum's contract is almost as bad as the season he's having. We get Kemba. Im not as high on him as some, but he's sure as hell a quality PG and one of the great 4th qtr shot makers. We def need a finisher.

No way. If we're taking on Batum's contract we shouldn't have to give up any of WHG, Dotson (who I don't even like but whatever), or any 2nd rounders.
Batum has already really faltered.
Unless Noah plays gone minutes that team won't rebounds very well. Also not much of scoring threat inside since KP doesn't go in there often and Noah can't score and KOQ is meh.
