Knicks · when we sign these guys from G league or 2nd rd (page 1)

we need to do what Houston does--- 3-4 year contract with only the first yr guaranteed. We couldve signe dburke for 3 years with only 40 games guaranteed. If you think the player is good enough to play for the Knicks--just give him the 3-4 yr non guaranteed contract--so if he blows up you have him under contract for cheap/

Agreed when possible. There’s no way a guy like Burke would have agreed to that. It’s safe to say the Knicks tried to get as many non guaranteed years as possible.

Completely agree. No brainer 100%.

Houston doesnt do this.

Knicks did sign Burke to a non-guaranteed for next year, so Knicks control. Easy to look up and it's been announced in other places repeatedly. Even here.

I can't think of 1 out-of GLeague contract that runs 3-4 years. No need to make stuff up BRIGGS.

Yea I can't see any agent advising his client to sign for 3-4yrs with non-guaranteed money. They could get cut any time while also end up stuck in a situation that doesn't benefit them.
