this knicks thing just hasn't worked out for y'all...so i'm here to extend an olive branch.
it may be time to adopt another team in the east for this year to finally dethrone the cavs and take on gsw. i'm not asking you to leave your family...just asking to take on another cause for the rest of the year.

when i took this idea to my raptor brothers + sisters, they said "no. they will only send their rapists, murderers and drug dealers."
but i was able to convince them that "some of you are good people".

Have to admit, and its sort of sacrilege to do so, but despite Ainge and that awful green color the Celtics are kid of fun.
Horford, Kyrie and Tatum are: "Something old, Something borrowed, Something new....." I was a bit of a Gordon Haywood fan having seen him tear up the nuggets a few years ago in a game I saw live in Salt Lake. Hiring a young coach and letting him find his way is also admirable.
Im not a Lebron hater so I have really no strong love or dislike for the top NBA teams these days.
For you DJ, I'll keep an open mind.

For the Nets to take on the two years and $30 million left on Carroll's contract, the Raptors will attach a 2018 lottery-protected first-round and second-round pick to the deal, league sources said.

celtics are a squeeze blood from a stone team. they play hard every night and their defense is great. kyrie is also an assassin. with that said, i feel the raptors are a better overall squad. more weapons - deep bench and can play both sides. our offense really is elite - the only question is whether we can make all those open 3's. we don't have great shooters on the team so that will be the deciding factor in the playoffs. plus, we'll see if lowry + dd can shake off their playoff slumps. but if there's a season to break out and make the finals - this is the season.
as for coach - look at casey. he's now been with the team for 6 years now - that's almost unheard of in today's nba. i was a major casey critic but he's a really good coach and it would be tough to find many better. completely revamped the offense and got both kyle + dd to buy in. he got an entire bench (and one starter) on their rookie deals absolutely dominating other teams. only 1 lotto pick of the bunch (thanks bargs) - the rest are either picked after 20, 2nd round or undrafted.

I'll take the girl. We all know she is just there because of the free ticket and gear bought by some Raptor fan that thought he had a shot. Easily converted. 
Raptors are a good team but the better teams usually stop either Derozan or Lowry in the playoffs. They need one more high level scorer.
