Out west you have the only “it” team that hang on to the tender knees of CP3. All chips are won and lost on the trainers table and this is no different year.
GSW is the vulnerable one, Utah and POrtland over reached and Thibs teams again come in fried from intense minutes from a long regular season. Fewer elite teams west of the Mississippi this year.
East of, and to the north lies the solid and healthy Raptors and the ever dangerous Lebron and his made over trade deadline Cavs who despite the record have to be logical favorites.
Philly is footloose and fancy free but no playoff experience. I’m going to call on Miami to perhaps provide the first upset and break young hearts.
All eyes on the Thunder who might be going into Lottery hell for a while if PG13 bolts for the Hollywood Hills and Westbrook gets himself traded as he don’t want to live thru a rebuild in OKLAFUCKINGHOMA. There will be Melo all lonesome on the range....were the deer and antelope play. They should beat the Jazz.
When is Giannis going to do something special? Bucks not looking good are they? Brad Stevens is a coaching freak. He looks good doing his job. How freaking Smart was Marcus Smart this year? Free agent year and he goes full Amare on a photo frame with glass?
Gotta make picks and no doubt this 60 day tournament has twists. GSW and Spurs meet in round one and Spurs best player is sidelined? GSW is prime to be upset.

All good posters have to have some sort of picks or predictions. It’s easy to pick the obvious trend and go with Philly but what fun is that. Miami takes them out. If not, Whiteside is the new Jerome James but with much more money! How can Rilles let that happen?
I cannot go against Lebron as long as he is this relevant. I have Cav’s coming out east to meet the Rockets. I logic says GSW but how many years can that be repeated? How many hearts will be broken? How freaking amazing is the balance of the NBA season might actually fall on JR Smiths tatted shoulders?

Stick your neck out and make a prediction. The price is cheap, the glory is thin and Knicks are gone!

Anybody but the Rockets please. Can't stand D'Antoni. What was he chasing with a 6 game lead, the number one seed, home court clinched, going into the playoffs playing all his main guys big minutes? Can't stand Harden. When you can watch a guy hook a player on a drive to the basket and then throw his body into the same guy and get to the line over and over again I don't know how you root for that guy unless you are from Houston.

I would be happy if MDA wins one, he has had a long innovative career.
Harden is like Durant t me.
I think Cav’s sneak one in if the gods so deem it. Paths to chips are strange sometimes.

I really like Ben Simmons game- have only had chance to mainly catch his game highlights this season, so looking forward to seeing more of him in the playoffs

April 14: First round begins

April 30-May 1: Conference semis begin (possible move-up to April 28-29)

May 15-16: Conference finals begin (possible move-up to May 13-14)

May 31: NBA Finals begin

I still got the Celts winning the series...Brad Stevens is an outstanding coach...They've played many games without Kyrie and even Horford but they still play teh same way: attention to detail on the defensive end, ball and body movement and they doo a good job of scouting the opposition....Also, the Bucks are too inconsistent.
