Where the heck was this guy in the Philly series. Miami needed someone big in the post, and he got NO time on the court.
Only 1 game of over 15 minutes playing time... What the heck happened with this guy?
Two more years at $52M for him. Wow.
You think at "UlitimateHeat.com" they calling for Riley's head?
Man you hit the nail on the head with that. NY media and ESPN they run the Knicks. Phil never had a chance with the Lynch mob. Lead by Frank Isola and Steven A and rest of the cronies at ESPN. I bet they bitching about how they missed out on Booker for Winslow.
I’m being a bit sarcastic. Riles should have some room for error as they got 3 chips there.
Goes to show even the best make mistakes.
Maybe Booker haunts the second guessers? Winslow looked like star potential out of college.
There is always a guy better in every draft unless you got “the one” that year!!

Yes Riley will always be given room for error. But he has his share of mistakes. And he has his gifts. First Lakers gifting Shaq and then Superfriends taking less to be together. Who get these kind of favors other then Ainge.

Shaq from lakers, I think if we look back he was not in his prime and to his credit he lasted longer than most expected. His last years with PHX and Clev were not his best but who thought at that size he could still play.
Superfriends required he clear cap space and tank hard while coming to the realization Beas was not going to get much better.
He was charismatic to have pulled superfriends off.

Did he pull it off or did Wade pull it off. I’m thinking it was mostly Wade. But credit to him. Phil never got the chance without Melo. It might have been a thing to behold. Some criticize Phil to no ends. He inherited a shyt show from the beginning starting with no draft pick. Anyways this is partly the problem with this organization they are to quick to move on without proper understanding and assessments.
While Riley continues to have draft picks and continues to use the draft as talent hoarding g like the Shaq deal. So far Phil has been two for two and his talent evaluation has been really good. Just look at the last draft. Ntlikina, Kornet and Dotson. They all look like solid contributors. Willie, Had the potential which was discarded for no reason. This regime didn’t even let Willie play. If they had such apathy for Willie they should have just played him heavy minutes and built his value to return a first rounder which he would have easily done. If JH wasn’t going to be a part of the deal why not just move on from JH and let Willie play. Now your stuck with two FAs at center who don’t even fit the modern day NBA.

Play him big minutes and nobody but knicks knows his work habits stink and he freezes on Defense? C'mon man, Gm's are not stupid to any of this.
They got tape, advance scouts, etc. If Willy does not improve then perhaps we got a great trade in two picks! The future will tell this story.
Knicks felt Kornet and Hicks were better to get the minutes.
Man, Tatum is good. I thought Melo's offensive game was advanced for a rookie. But this kid has no glaring weaknesses, outside of strength.

Fultz and Tatum were my choices to be generational picks in this draft. Simmons is from last season. We really need that kind of firepower on offense. Hope we can luck out and find that in the draft, one way or another. Still havent really looked over the top picks yet. Just a little slow, lol.

I don't know if there's anyone as polished as Tatum on offense this year. Porter was supposed to be that guy, but injuries killed him this season. But who knows...Mykal Bridges could surprise. Miles too.
Wow what a game. A rookie out Westbrooked Westbrook. What Mitchell did is either going to motivate Westbrook this offseason, or its going to seriously mess him up.
Imagine how Melo felt to hear Felton's name get called over his in crunch time.
George is gone. Melo isnt going anywhere. OKC forum fans will lose their minds over that 28 million.
Donovan Mitchell just served notice on people inclined to starfukk at all costs and people who evaluate players based on scoring alone. Your 15 minutes are up. Three first ballot Hall of famer including the reigning MVP, the best two way player in the league and an "elite scorer" just got their ass handed to them by a no name rookie and bunch of "role players" doggedly playing team basketball.

Refs swallow whistle on PG shot?
Wish they would show a different angle to see how much PG leaned into Golbert
Melo -19 in 26 mins- the second worse +/- was -7

Now they're stuck with him for another season (unless they buy him out)- he's not going to accept a bench role without crying about it.

Great defense and no contact...
But refs get tired of PG antics.
He is no Lebron or Harden to get this calls.
The other day LeBron goal tended and no call they didn’t even review it during the time out. They call that and LeBron is sitting at home. That was a no call as far as I’m concerned with PG straight up great defense.

A rookie just put up the best scoring performance, the most consecutive 20pt games in the playoffs since Kareem in 1970, and this bile is your response? Let it go.......

Looked that way. If PG had a monster game last night, Im guessing they would have been more inclined to give him the call. Sbouldnt be that way of course.
Anyone else here rooting for Cavs and Celts to go home early this year?

I see Finals Raptors and Houston
Anybody but the Rockets please. Can't stand D'Antoni. What was he chasing with a 6 game lead, the number one seed, home court clinched, going into the playoffs playing all his main guys big minutes? Can't stand Harden. When you can watch a guy hook a player on a drive to the basket and then throw his body into the same guy and get to the line over and over again I don't know how you root for that guy unless you are from Houston.
I never liked Harden. He style is effective, but ugly as hell.

Always.
