Maybe Fizz wanted to meet Dolan and it wasn't the other way around.

Dont blame Dolan for wanting to meet Fizdale considering how many coaches he's paying. Doubt he wanted to be paying one more. Fizdale was apparently in demand, he choose the Knicks. I'll take it. Whatever way floats your boat.

That is awesome. That was my worry with a Blatt hiring. The front office and coach are on the same page with the same goals. A real top down approach. That is the one thing about the Nets that I have wished the Knicks had. Now they do.

How is that drive at 0:35 legal? He stepped from the top of the key to the rim.

Another good article from, The Knicks Wall. Interesting stuff including some rumblings that D'Antoni was Dolan's choice and Walsh wanted a defense first coach.

Interesting. Heard he may bring in Woodson as an assistant as well.

oo
I've always felt the Heat are the most well conditioned franchise in the NBA under Riley -- their players are typically shredded and in elite condition if not always the most talented --- they also seem to squeeze out some lemonade from unknown/underappreciated players.

First major hope is that Fiz can immediately instill the need for MUDIAY to get in ELITE condition -- as that is his only chance. Also -- more importantly hope he gives clear concise direction to Frank/KP/Timmy what he expects from them in terms of body-fat targets...conditioning etc. If we can somehow be the BEST CONDITIONED team -- sometimes great D and toughness follows.

I would think Fiz will be strong in terms of conditioning, attitude, toughness ---- not so sure about him in terms of creativity on the offensive side ----- something that has never stood out to me with the HEAT.

Just hopeful we can have an excited, tough young bunch of guys playing with great energy/effort.

Yes. To hell with KP. Fitz needs to concentrate on the talent in hand.

He exceeded expectations at Memphis according to First Take and got fired because of an issue with Marc Gasol not performance. Obviously, that's not the end all be all but I will definitely take the wait and see approach. There are some great FA options available for a quick rebuild to give Coach a better overall roster.

Probably the best Post article I have read in 10 or more years. Even more excited about Fiz getting hired.

Fiz chose the Knicks over other jobs. Bud said he wanted NY. Pretty awesome considering the franchise is not that far removed from being punked by Steve Kerr and Luke Walton.

Still remember this quote from Waiters' Players Tribune Article,
When Pat said “world-class shape,” I thought it sounded cool, but in my head, I was like, Yeah, I got this. I’m in world-class shape. You already know.

So I show up for camp, and after one week, my body is shot. I was damn near throwing up in trash cans like in the movies.

And I realized, You know what? Pat was not just talking that smooth talk. This Heat thing is the real deal.

Amazing. No coach wanted to touch the Knicks for six years, and now the best coaches want the job. Hmmmm
