I've always felt the Heat are the most well conditioned franchise in the NBA under Riley -- their players are typically shredded and in elite condition if not always the most talented --- they also seem to squeeze out some lemonade from unknown/underappreciated players.

First major hope is that Fiz can immediately instill the need for MUDIAY to get in ELITE condition -- as that is his only chance. I would think Fiz will be strong in terms of conditioning, attitude, toughness ---- not so sure about him in terms of creativity on the offensive side ----- something that has never stood out to me with the HEAT.

Just hopeful we can have an excited, tough young bunch of guys playing with great energy/effort.

Thanks for posting this...It was pointed out that the hiring of Fiz was Perry's call. This is good to hear as some on this board are still hung up on the idea that Mills is somehow calling the shots. The fact that they (thankfully) didnt hire Blatt who had connections with Mills shows that perhaps we are out of the business of doing favors, instead we hire the most qualified candidate.

It looks as thought the dysfunction/circus has left town and we are being run like a normal franchise. Also,it was good to hear that Fiz actually wanted to be here!!!

But what if Mills was doing Perry a favor, who was doing Fiz a favor?

Draft Miles Bridges -- have Fizdale get him in elite (Miami Heat) shredded condition and play him at SF.

Gives us an explosive athlete to throw into the mix.

With 2nd round pick either add a long PG (ex Shamet) or really good wing defender (ex Frazier - Tulane --- who prob won't be there).

We needed a glasses emoji pronto...We also need to make sure that other gig Fiz had on the West Coast is done and he's focused on the Knicks.

Like what Mills said about Fizdale "owning up" for what he didnt get right in Memphis.

Only thing Fizz might have passed on saying, "Dont worry Mudiay we"ll fix your broken ass game" or something to that effect lol. Glad Mudiay made the trip, Burke too.

Mills talked about accountability, but gave himself a pass for everything since he got here. Cmon Steve, walk it like you talk it.
