#36 could turn into a real value pick. A lot of guys who were originally considered first round guys are projected to now fall into the 2nd round. We can absolutely get a solid rotation player here, more-so than in most years.
Right now ESPN has these guys available to use in the mock draft:
Landry Shamet
Khyri Thomas
Jacob Evans
Gary Trent Jr
Shake Milton
Justin Jackson
Isaac Bonga
Trevon Duval
All these guys and others were once considered mid-to-late 1st round guys.
Other guys who could fall:
Bruce Brown
Melvin Frazier
Jalen Brunson
Keita Bates-Diop
Josh Okogie
Dzanan Musa
Who do you like at #36?
I like Melvin Frazier a ton, especially if we end up drafting a big. Wagner from Mich would be a great 2nd rounder also.
Jarred Vanderbilt should be there also. He's a really high upside guy worth taking a look at. Hurt a lot but has a lot of talent. Great rebounder and point forward type skills.
If we dont draft a PG in the first round, wouldnt mind Perry selecting one with a chip on his shoulder in the second. Someone to push the PGs ahead of him.
Baker and Mudiay will likely be gone after this upcoming season if their respective games dont show growth. They would really have to impress to stick around, I imagine.
Injuries always seem to force the team to go deep into the bench for help at PG, no matter how many we start the season with.
