Physically ready....I can see that. NBA starter or rotational ready? I'm still holding my breath utill I see him playing with and against similar talent.

and Frank with his 7 feets worth at PG !!!!

The "Heatles" defense once bought into was really very effective. The speed by which they closed passing lanes was astonishing at times.
That was the great compromise Riles got Lebron to buy into.
Wingspan helps when footspeed is not there. Knicks are long and young. The culture will be installed. Will it happen over nite as fans want? Most likely not.
The talent is there. Its raw, its young and we'll have another shot at next years draft. Phuch the noise to those who wanted to trade next years pick.
I don't know where we are going, but its not going to be what it was........

I have suffered THJR and Lee at the three, I'll be happy to see Knox at the 2. Aslong as Dotson gets serious burn.

That's just fiz way of stretching his players. Knox has potential to guard 3 positions....234.

But if u read between the lines.....no more thj and Lee at the 3.....that's Knox.....unless Lance Thomas out hustles him.

Yeah, I think I have had enough of THJR and Lee at the 3. I am eager to see what Knox does, most importantly if he has the defensive chops. I hope we can find takers for THJR and Lee

Man, what happened to Marvin Bagely in yesterdays game? 1pt in 29mins, hardly any shots- did he just dog it or something?

I heard Trae Young didn’t look like he belongs in the NBA.

LegendD @ 7/6/2018 7:32 AM
Trae Young is a bust!!! 3/24 from 3pts, its 12,5%

Briggs best months on this forum are April and May and June when he starts putting up 1000 threads on players the Knicks should look at. When reality hits in July, he's suddenly too busy to post.

Young is 12-of-52 (23.1%) overall and 3-of-24 (12.5%) from deep. (3 games)
Steph Curry! Here we come!

Lol. He will never be Curry but I also don't think he will be a bust. Like Curry, it is going to take him about 3 years to build up his body and figure out how to best utilize his skills. I think he will ultimately be Curry-lite(a decent starter but not an All-Star).

Yeah...I usually go lightly as far as criticizing rookies in SL.

I would be more concerned about his D and, later on, how he plays when he is not given carte blanche to do whatever he wants whenever he wants to do it.

You figure that if he is under control, his shot will come around.

Have not seen him play in SL yet...hard for me to judge him, but I expect that he's putting a lot of pressure on himself.

Unless the player we did draft does poorly in their first summer league game!

It's going to be brutal for him until he does- Steph Curry didn't have Steph Curry's shadow hanging over him, plus the fact Doncic was traded for him. If Doncic is a bust, Trae has breathing space, if he's great he'll never hear the end of it.

So glad we didn't take him. Kid is obviously a bust and ATL FO must be updating their resume!
What were they thinking? Wow, epic draft mistake!!!
Oh wait, it was just a bad first half. Never mind..........

Sarcasm........

Also, don't slam this kid yet. He did over react to Grayson Allen which this kid will be a magnet for attention. Trae picked a good one to try to get tough on.
I hope Allen does well, the kid is a freaking "bytch) but something funny about him. He will get his bell rung if he pulls any stuff but no doubt his coach wanted him physical on Trae Young and test BOTH their meddle. Its summerleague and Allen might as well get used to the attention cuz every contact will be magnified. Quinn Snyder (Coach K "Tree") was a good choice for him to land with.

Steph had 4 yrs of college to hone his craft to the level of being greater than his weaknesses. Hope that Young joining the league after one college season doesn't take away his confidence if he struggles early. As he has a style that a coach will give up on quick if it isnt efficient.

I agree. Also, he had to come out after the year he had. That doesn't mean that he isn't very young and that he would not have benefitted from another year or two in college.

People forget that Curry also had Monte Ellis to help ease the transition. It takes most PGs time. Just look at out very own Trey Burke. Briggs standom aside, it's tough to takes these games seriously. I still wouldn't have picked him that high, tho.
