Not sure, but he didn't play much for the Nets. I heard rumblings that his conditioning sucked and he needed to get back in game shape after the nets trade.

Thanks...you're probably right.
Thought they were trying to hide him by not playing him much last year.
They clearly didn't like what they saw from him.
Might be good to play with Davis...

Lee is how old? and got respect by his contract. But he is not the future or why people pay to see the knicks. Who owns a Courtney Lee jersey?
Melo not on last years promo's? are you kidding? he was being traded. We wanted him gone, he wanted out, blah blah.
We gave him a NTC and he was going to "sacrifice his game for the team". Nope. he got a massive contract and a NTC, that's not disrespect.
KOQ? He OPTED OUT. We all like him, but he made a decision to opt out.
Beas? He had a one year deal, and no way were we going to do more. New coach don't see a future for him at his age. Beas don't like to play defense and he gets lost.
No disrespect, he came, he was a bench player. When injuries hit us he got a lot of playing time. When we were over .500 he sat. He was not integral to the success of the team. He became important because we needed him.
Noah? Disrespect? He should retire if he can't play. He got suspended for PED's. He was out of shape.
He messed up. I like him, I root for him, but we pay him 75$$million and he did not meet his contract.

People who fawn over bullying, alcoholic a-holes like Oakley well into their adulthood have problems. He just got arrested for trying to cheat at a casino. Who even does that?
I'm not referring to you OP. I'm just mentioning it since you recounted your run-in. That guy is a complete scumbag in real life. "He better know"? LOL. Ron Artest is like 10 years younger and would beat the brakes off him. He picks on security guards for no reason, randomly talks shit to Charles Barkley like a psycho, threatens people, etc. Granted, Dolan and him deserve each other.
That said, if he walked in, I'd either A.) Ignore him while staring at him so "he better know" OR B.) Talk to him and ask him why he's always disrespecting Barkley and others. I would definitely NOT want a picture with that psychotic nutter.
His act was cool when it was on the court and we were young, but you grow up and you realize it's unacceptable behavior, and that he's in serious need of anti-psychotics and an ass-whoopin.
We're talking about a guy who is blatantly racist against whites, despite having lived high on the hog for many years at the expense of white fans. That is something that needs to dawn on fans. He is RACIST.
Also, he's a friend of Jordan's. Ew.

what does youth got to do with the way you treat veterans. If you think having 3 or 4 productive veterans on the floor and in the locker room takes away from developing young players, then you clearly don't pay attention to anything but the knicks
your suppose to look at all the teams that have been in the lottery yr after yr and do the opposite of what they do

cheating a casino thats design to cheat people out of their money anyway. you talk about Barkley who has made a career out of trashing the Knicks even when we are good. Oaks personality is the same on the court as it is off.

Guy has some personal problems. I agree. And being in the public eye, they do get enhanced. My own personal experience trumps that of the media in this case. Why?...not because he is an ex-Knick.
Now time to dissect your post.
"He better know" as in not about to fight Ron Ron, but more so respect since he is the coach? stop over analyzing.
Picking on security guards, do you have personal experience to this effect?
Talking shit to Charles Barkley...if anything, just for this reason, I like him. Because of all people on TV, Barkley talks more shit about the Knicks than anyone else, and this is including the trio of Pierce, Billups, Rose combined.
He didn't seem psychotic at all to me. Perhaps he has triggers.
You are talking about a guy who grew up in a day and age when there was no backlash of blatant racism against blacks. oh wait what am I saying...that exists today thanks to Trump.
Friend of Jordan's...whooptidoo...listen to any Kanye lately?

Those veterans have to agree to come off the bench...kinda like Reddick? Philly is doing much better after developing their youth aren't they?

Casino's don't cheat. Its called "Math"! They are mathematically designed to win and its why you win more than you put on the table but lose more than you win.
What Oak did was a straight up felony and he got caught red handed. It says a lot about his self entitlement on top of all his run ins the last few years.
The man is not in his 20's and 30's on the basketball court. His personality is confrontational and it gets him in trouble.
Barkley bashed the knicks and has proven to be accurate most of the time. If you don't like him because of that that's your choice but its not a well thought out position.

completely random...I've been lucky to run into Nate the Gr8 in ATL as I was leaving Target. He was gracious with the selfie too. I was a big fan of his when he played for the Knicks. and then a couple of years ago Travis Best at ATL airport on the airport train of all places standing next to me. Dude still looks exactly the same as from his playing days....probably could still play.
Hopefully run-ins with KP, Frank and Knox are next! yes fanboy here lol. I do frequent a couple of restaurants where all the famous NBA players in the last 30 years go to eat. No run-ins there yet though. Several photos on the walls with restaurant staff...thats how I could tell.
