He also had problems in kinder-garden.
He kissed the 6-year old girl without sexual content.
The girl (now 53 years old) filed charges including possible genetic pedophilia...

I agree that the joke was in bad taste. Now if his point was that the latest allegation should not be taken seriously, I have mixed feeling on that. Certainly what is alleged by the first accuser is serious. This second accuser seems to allege that he flashed her. While that is questionable conduct, it is college. Women flash their breasts and guys flash their penis. Are we really going to start disqualifying people for high school and college stupidity. Again, the first accuser is describing conduct that goes beyond playful stupidity, but I am not as concerned about the second accuser's allegations.

The way the MeToo and Co started the movement was very important and positive development.
The way the movement was used (by mostly powerful man) to bring down other man in political (and other) battles is disgusting and made the grate movement a running joke. Talk about killing 2 birds in one shot.

the politicization of what happened to these women is disgusting on both sides.

with that said, one party is on the side of a full investigation.
the other party is on the "boys will be boys" club.

common sense and doing what is right is completely out the door with the catalyst being the election of a black president.

its the supreme court. the highest in the land. what he did his whole life is under scrutiny. We lowered the bar with Trump, need we continue for a lifetime appointment?

Things should matter.

This over-generalization is stupid on a thousand different levels.

When hiring people in positions of power and moral authorities. They shouldn't have possible rape charges on their jacket.

There are many people who are still paying for their "life choices" as young adults.

are there any republicans here? i'm very curious to hear their thoughts on how the GOP is handling the kavanaugh thing.

to me, the entire GOP are basically telling women that any claims of sexual harrassment will be discarded or minimized and it will not impact the white male accused in any way.

kavanaugh's blatant lying in hearing

https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2018...

Don't know if he assaulted Prof. Ford but I do know Kavanaugh lied during his Fox interview and lied about his role in prior judicial confirmations when he said he did not know documents had been stolen from the democrats. How can you be on the Supreme Court when you are so willing to lie in a hearing?
