All things come to an end. It's the beauty of this system. Even the clinically stupid will eventually figure out that shit stinks.

This is fantastic read on why people dig in and react emotionally when their core belief systems are challenged. It's written like a comic strip and real easy to read. Whatever your convictions, social, political, religious and scientific, do yourself a favor and read this.

And people wonder why Republican's win elections. The whole electoral college is being redefined to make them win.

Muslim non-profit orgs just raised 180K for Pittsburgh synagogue victims. Love it!

Not sure if this is the right thread to post this but I need to vent. As some of you might know I have been living in Russia since 2013, that's after 19 years in US(high school, RN degree and working as an RN for a few years) so I am able to compare. Anyway, few days ago a member of my family went for an MRI scan, IT COST A GRAND TOTAL OF 100$. (60$ actually because they had a SALE) Let that sink in for a moment. Same machine, same technicians. Yeah I had to pay it out of pocket. But WTF? Why is the healthcare industry in the US able to charge crazy prices?

Another example: my dog recently had a health problem and needed a test which my vet friend from Brooklin recommended. Price in the US = 2,500$. Price in Russia = 60$. What the . . .

Amen! martin

Neither party Republicans, nor Democrats are perfect.

What it comes down to is simply the American people, citizens and needs of peoples of their Country.

D.Trump & Family puts THEMSELVES 1st! before anybody Or any Country
They could care less about putting OUR COUNTRY Citizens needs 1st..

so the way you used Adjectives to describe the lacking emphaty of Mr Prez
to our own people, versus his love for Putin/Kremlin and Mr. North Korea

Edit: Agree with the thrust of the article. Disagree that this was worse than the WMD story, that was pushed before the Iraq War. Hundreds of thousands of people died.

What we’re not going to move this thread to the main board?

disappointing but fine. keep charging ahead. the first year of trump's presidency everyone was so freaked out and so fucked up about how to act that the only person really standing up was meryl streep. now every time he sneezes it's the object of intense focus, confrontation, exposure, debate, congressional inquiry - perfect! keep tracking this mother-fucker and everything he says/does/tweets for the remainder of his time in office, and keep that as the media focus. when you've proven to be an inveterate liar you've earned this constant scrutiny and don't deserve a single free pass to a single thing you say or do.
