He was making good progress before the season stopped. If he plays at these percentages from now on, that is solid shooting from your pg. as others have said, the team just looks better when Frank plays. The defense is better and the offense looks more structured. Frank is that intangible guy where the numbers don’t jump out at you but they make an impact on the game that is hard to quantify. I like Frank a lot and think the Knicks should try to hold on to him longterm if they resign him for a decent salary.
As a fan I'd like to see what he can do with better talent around him. Does it elevate his game? Pretty generic stuff. We have read Leon is fond of him and CAA was angry he left. Is that anger out of his potential? Some of us assume Leon would be petty to move him? I doubt that. Whats best for the knicks is what matters. Still 21 years old. He seems like the kind of guy that owns his issues aand the work ethic is apparent. Three presidents in three years, three coaches, and how many teammates? Longest tenured knick!! LOL
If he is good for knicks, then I hope he sticks. Loved his dunk attempts.
This season would have been a good sophmore one. At 21 he hardly can be labeled a bust. Another big chunk of a season lost for him. Same for all.

Honestly I want them to keep him to break the Charlie Ward streak of not signing rookies to a second deal. It should have been Porzingis but we messed up there let’s keep Frank.

we drafted a young French kid and went through a bunch of growing pains witht him. He showed enough where I'm back to wanting to keep him. He is already beginning to look like a man instead of like Kevin Knox. Assuming he gets stronger and his groin heals, I think next year is going to be a really good year for him and I see no reason why he won't be a complete player by the time he's 25, 26, 27
Wow...Crush had the last post on this thread before Panos bumped it....Glad to see Frank back but I wonder if he's just going to take a seat in the back beside Dennis.
Can we just pin this thread for as along as Frank is a Knick?

Yes, please Martin
We are all pulling so hard for the kid
Even beyond. When he is traded we can then discuss his breakout and why we can’t.........
Its games these that thibs should put frank in and just give hime enough rope to play. He will be there to manage the defense just surround him enough players to handle the offense. This is why i want Frank in this team. These players only need a chance, a fair shake, look at Dot when give playing time.
We need his perimeter D badly.

Really, not according to his 5th coach
Though Frank Ntilikina was made available after a 3 ½-week absence with a sprained left knee, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau bluntly said the club’s 2017 lottery pick doesn’t yet have a playing role.
Who’s can’t tell me healthy Frank isn’t giving us more than Bullock did.

Let's see what Thibs says after Conley or Donovan scorch us for 30
Can’t read between the lines any more than what’s been printed the last 24 hours. He is not in the rotation and he likes Burks/rivers running the point.
Also that injuries happen too. Frank will get some run. If not, he’ll find a team that will.
We're one of the top defensive teams in the league and one of the worst offensive teams in the league. Mostly without Frankie.
Tells you all you need to know right now.
