Jump ahead to 2023/24 season...Frank makes All Star Game with some Western Conference team...various threads appear bemoaning us letting him walk or stating we should trade multiple #1's for his return...but then he troll tweets the Knicks and a hate thread appears...and then....
I know a lot of you guys jest, but I feel it in my bones. Frank would really fit in well with what we have.
IQ, Frank, RJ, Randle, Mitch.
Bench: Burks, Rivers, Obi, Noel, Knox.

So you really think adding frank to the rotation will increasing our scoring by and speed up our pace?

You'd be lucky to get a 2nd rounder for him. What makes you think he is an all star? Man plays his best without the ball touching him.

your right, i actual looked at the last 10
But Still 8-7 with him, and there's no way thibs would play frank over bullock.
The fact that that bullock didn't play a single minute in the last 2 games and frank still didn't get any PT, says all you need to know

Wait, there is literally no other reason you can come up with? No possibility of anything else existing?

Nope. When it comes to Frank it's as clear as day.

Mani/Pedi
Tight game against the Pacers. Taj gets hurt. We mount a comeback after being 16 down. Frank is in his 2nd game back. Thibs subs him in at the very end of the game when Pacers got the ball and we need a stop. Frank gets a steal then dribbles out the clock until they finally foul him. Then he calmly sinks the free throws for the win. Check mate. Gotta love that
That last possession of the game when Frank got the steal was like visual cocaine

We are 4-0 in games that Ntlikina played more than 6 mins.
I’m not gonna say we don’t need an upgrade at SF, but I think DR has been a revelation in the first unit. I like the youths IQ Ntlikina Toppin together. Might like to see Knox get unlocked there a bit also, but he has to earn those minutes.
FrNk needs to score more. If Frank can get to that 12 point a game level he should replace Bullock in the starting 5. That is long term
Short term he has to not get hurt. He is the exact player a a guy like Thibs would trust but he has to earn it. He has played well enough to earn a few minutes from Burks and Bullock. Somehow get him in there for 3 minutes per quarter or so. He hasn't earned anyone's spot yet.
Hitting a 3 while being closely defended is an important milestone in Frank's career, if he can keep this up.
His biggest issue has been injuries that put him two steps back after two steps forward. The last couple of games are a first step out of the dog house or quarantine or whatever Thibs had going there. I truly believe if Frank can stay healthy he will be a significant contributor. But based on history I will be hopeful but not in denial.

You're fully right!
Bottom line is this Phil J pick can only stay around to grow his skills if he's on court
In a rotation or getting minute's to work up to being more
Healthy.
He got decent attitude and two way skills to aid our Knickerbockers.
However as all this Post glorifies Frank's talent
Unfortunately he's useless if going to be IL
MORE than on court player off bench? Or needed
Starter 2 way player.
Always like his grit in poor knicks seasons 😢 but
He can only shine in rotation if he's healthy in NBA Season.
*a problem !

We'll see since I'm sure he's gonna be in NBA Demand talks from other teams.
