i love Kanter. I just dont think we can afford him unless he takes a big paycut or we shed another contract

I taped the game and have only watched the Knicks during commercials. I thought Vinleh might be a cut candidate but I saw his post game interview and heard Fiz talk about him. Also, Kanter has added to his game. It finally seems like the Knicks are on the right track. Even being proactive in assembling the Westchester roster.

I hadn't focused on Vonleh before this game, but I loved everything about is game today. It's just one game but if he keeps playing like this he can be the perfect replacement for KOQ and then some. This kid can push the ball on a fast break all by himself.

Patterson and Abrines make a combined $11mil this season, Plas add a cheap player (maybe Fergus on) and the salaries would match Lee. Patterson has a $5.7mil player option for next season but he could opt out, but even if he doesn't that's easier to move than Lee's, or you could stretch it for just a $2mil hit
