Patterson and Abrines make a combined $11mil this season, Plas add a cheap player (maybe Fergus on) and the salaries would match Lee. Patterson has a $5.7mil player option for next season but he could opt out, but even if he doesn't that's easier to move than Lee's, or you could stretch it for just a $2mil hit

I think they need Patterson. He has been their starting 4 so far and I know they thought he was a really good fit last year before acquiring Melo. I think he was coming back from an injury last year and that limited him some. But that would be the type of deal the Knicks need to make.

I know, right? It took this long to repeat that feat. And Kanter typically double doubles in the first half. I could get used to this!
