Knox might up being better at attacking the rim, in the years to come. One drive he did, in the last game, from the baseline, high off the glass, was something to see.
Already looks comfortable with his stroke. Even when its off.

Its ok if you are projecting, its fun to have a fresh blue chip pedigree rookie from a big time program. Bernard was obviously an older rookie with a quickness before he his man strength power came. The 30 for 30 about him in college was very interesting and his dominance in college was very compelling.
King was explosive in his hops and Knox is too young still to see if that evolves.

I see Knox early in his career as being a Harrison Barnes/Tabias Harris type player. We know he's going to score points and rebound because of his talent. We just need to see that x-factor that separates him from those guys and become a true star.

Plus, Bernie did a lot of damage in the post and was more effective inside. Knox still needs to work on that. I might get killed for this, but I see a little bit of Keith Van Horn in Knox, especially the way he still strides to the hoop of the pump fake. Just a little. The fact that there aren't really any clear cut comparisons is a good thing, IMHO.

Did Keith Van Horn ever have a pull up jumper? That to me is the killer skill that Knox might have that can differentiate him from the rest of the league.

If Knox becomes half the player Bernard was then he would be a great Knick.
BK in NY was a different animal than rookie BK was. BK had all kinds of baggage he was subjected to in College. When he matured he beasted in the the NBA.
Seems to me Fiz is giving him minutes to hit that wall early and work thru it early! He has played big minutes and not bringing him along slowly.

Don’t see Bking when I look at Knox. When I think of Bernard I think of him on the low block hitting a turn around jumper. With this positionless basketball Knox is more of face the basket player.

If Knox ends up being Big Shot Bob, great. That would be awesome. I think that's a lot to ask for from a guy who has never played a single minute of real action
