Knox needs drives to the basket early. It will either get him pumped, or get him to the line, making it easier to see his jumper dropping.

He's going to have to just play dirtier. It's unfortunate to say, but in his situation, he's just not big/fast/athletic enough to stop anyone cleanly.
Derek Fisher played way too long and lost about 4 steps in his last five years, but was dirty as all hell. His NBAPA slot meant he could get away with more. But it made enough of a difference to help him enough to stay on rosters.
Teams already have a scouting book on Burke/Kanter from their Jazz days. It's not good....
Jeff Hornacek played with Stockon for a bit. And Stockon was dirty as all hell. Some of it rubbed off on Hornacek at the end. Too bad Fish and Hornacek are gone now. Maybe they could have taught Burke to play dirtier.

He is 3 years older and more NBA ready. But we know it won't last. Knox is the future. Trier can become a great bench scorer here though. I'm excited about him.

The question with Trier is gonna be what else he does besides scoring? Once teams start to study him more he has to start to doing other things when the offense isnt working for him

Maybe nothing, but he can be a microwave off the bench. His isolation game will be tough to stop no matter how prepared a team is.
