Odds. Chance of winning. You can't win if you don't GET to the finals. Toronto has better odds cause at least they have a shot by being IN the finals.
and in my opinion, the rockets have a better chance of coming out of the west than the raptors do to come out of the east. not sure if this factors stuff like that in.

as of today, i rank the celtics slightly higher than toronto. but it's a long season and a lot of questions need to be answered. mainly, how will kawhi + nurse perform and can irving + hayward stay healthy.

i think they are also using offense as a factor - toronto should be top 3 in ortg while boston will be further down.

I agree - it will be worth it to land a top 3/4 talent again - we just are so depleted from the last decade of mismanagement.
Also, the top 4 picks are decided by the lottery. Previously, it was only the top 3.

lol i guess i am saying realistically a lot of NBA pundits and fans would agree so the 538 site predictions are nowhere a realistic model
