I just read it and considered posting the link. Not very optimistic are they?

Very optimistic for the top seed! Just like we want it
I thought there was a change in the lottery rules which makes last spot not so important anymore. Something like the bottom three have the same odds?
No sugar coating this season!

I think it's top 5 have same odds... not 100%. That said, yes, there are rules like that in place. The lesson is, when you wait to do crap like this, things change and you never catch up. We could have the worst record in the league and end up with the fifth pick, because that's what happens around here
love love love it. develop these kids and add a super high draft pick.
Cool. There should be no pressure on out part to rush KP. Just let it ride. The tankathon for Zion is on!
ouch! This will be a long season if we end up this bad.
For those too lazy to google:
The new system will level the odds at the top of the NBA Draft Lottery so that the teams with the three worst regular-season records will each have a 14 percent chance of winning the lottery. In the current structure, the top seed has 25 percent of the lottery odds, the second seed has 19.9 percent and the third seed has 15.6 percent.

I agree - it will be worth it to land a top 3/4 talent again - we just are so depleted from the last decade of mismanagement.
Geeze....Boston has Sacramento, Memphis and their own pick this year.

can't open the link on my phone - can you tell me who they have with the 2nd best shot at winning the title?

rockets i think should be the right answer. this is where i think their prediction model fails because they actually have raptors in there, which we all know is impossible.

Odds. Chance of winning. You can't win if you don't GET to the finals. Toronto has better odds cause at least they have a shot by being IN the finals.

and in my opinion, the rockets have a better chance of coming out of the west than the raptors do to come out of the east. not sure if this factors stuff like that in.
It's surprising they have the Raptors ahead of the Celtics, one team has just swapped its major player and the other is totally stable and were close to being in the finals without its two main offensive players. To think they could finish the season as champions yet still get the top pick... those are well managed, there's hardly a decade without them winning a chip.
29 wins as usual last couple of yers...
This was pretry accurate and looks very probable for thls se
