Saw that vid on reddit, loved watching it. Man, we were really spoilt in the 90s with so many players you couldn't help but root for, don't think I fully appreciated it at the time.

Agreed. Ive mentioned it a few time. I didnt fully appreciate the 90s knicks until years later. I was always pissed we got close but lost. Clearly after watching the shit show from 2001-2017 ive appreciated the 90s knicks much more. Now that i feel better about the direction we are going in I could look back and enjoy those days.

Those Spree years were great. CambyMan and LJ and KrazyEyes; it was too bad that all happened way too late in Ewing's career. A slightly more mobile Ewing and that series would have possibly been a bit different.
One short Spree baseline j away from forcing game 6.
KrazyEyes Returns for the Utah game turnaround the geriatric division title year! It wasn't all shit show.

It was interesting hearing how LJ injured his back- I was never really sure how he'd done it and couldn't find any articles about it when I went searching. Still, if he'd never gotten the back injury, he'd never of become a Knick

yes...crazy how careful pro athletes must be to minimize risk. who would have thought that it could happen at a pickup game. I am sure he kept that info on a need to know or even confidential for a long time.
the commercial idea with larry bird and magic johnson was awesome.

I guarantee that it was Larry Bird that cancelled it.

What a great time it was to be a Knicks fan. I appreciated every single game. I hope to enjoy basketball even half that much again.

Mr. Dolan gave Mr. Spree a great opportunity after he choked his coach, and Mr. Spree treated Jim very badly in return. He deserves no praise.

Some of us genuinely don't care how anyone treats Dolan- it's not our priority, or even on the radar- why would it be?

This should be interesting!

I wonder if he talked about MDA doing the same thing after he shot the ball at the opponents basket right before halftime..he was a DNP CD for about 20 games after that.
