Interesting.
Some would argue this will make them better.

The Knicks are definitely better on the court right now with LT but the Knicks would be better off longterm by freeing up minutes for younger guys. Who would you (or anyone) rather watch, Noah or LT?

Vonleh, without a doubt.
Fans just need to be prepared for the idea he MAY not be a long-term play for the Knicks.
If the offseason comes close to working out the way we want it to, KNicks would have a hard time bringing him back.
Why is LT out constitute a full mode tanking?

You took the words right out of my mouth. his minutes were declining by the game, and Im sure when knox gets it in gear and lee is back he would been down to no minutes.
I mentioned a few games back I was worried about him. I thought it was his feet/fasciitis (?). I was guessing on the cause but he wasn't moving the way he usually does. Very flat footed, shuffling
Putting aside the contract issue, which I leave to people who know that stuff better, he always came across as thoughtful and dedicated and I respect that. Hope he recovers soon

Sadly, LT playing would likely mean more losses than wins.
In the D/G League, he's considered a "Moby Dick" story. I can't believe I saw that gigantic white whale? I can't believe Thomas got that contract.
His contract is not just a bad contract, it's so bad, people around the league actually don't understand it. It's like someone having a problem with small animals eating fruit out of their fruit tree, then camps out in a lawn chair waiting to shoot flaming arrows at them. You see some mouthbreather, sipping on a Zima he's had in his garage for 15 years, then pops up to try to gun down a squirrel with a flaming arrow. You don't think even think - This is crazy. You think - I don't even fucking understand this.
Lance Thomas is the bad contract Moby Dick.
I'm happy for him on a person level. But I just truly don't understand.
Your posts are rapidly approaching Marvel Megamovie level. Are you writing screenplays in your spare time?
And why does the Zima have to be 15 years old? You leave so much back story out of your analogies...

Excellent question. I though he was 17th on the depth chart behind Luke Kornet and Ron Baker at this point?
I'm not a LT fan, but when Fiz took LT out of the starting lineup LT started playing more efficiently as a forward on offense/defense in the 2nd qtr. coming off the bench. Each game Fiz kept giving LT lesser minute each game, when Fiz only gave LT 8 minute in the Wizard game, then 5 minute in the Bulls game, at a time when the Knicks needed LT performance and Frank performance on the court in the 4th qtr. and OT to put a stop to Lavine 41 pt game .. I'm guessing LT got fed up with the rookie head coach Fizdale silliness, and called the doctor.

Yeah.
THAT's what happened.

Dude should retire.
He is very respected for all thing bur his bbal skills.
So time to get some other job around NBA.
Dude is smart in life so I do not expect to see him ever play again, especially for Knicks.

[Sigh]
Thomas is 30 and playing in his 10th season.
Meaning if he plays again next year for a cap-neutral salary of $2.4m dollars, only $1.5m of which is actually paid by the team, the rest is paid by the League.
He isn't making $2.4m in the NBA or anywhere else for that matter outside a roster.
He can make $10m+ dollars in life just hanging around for another 4 years and still have the rest of his life in front of him.
I'd say that's smart.
His girlfriend though

I'm not sure what to think...Do you have any more pictures to post so I can get a better sense of our team captain's, uh, judgement on and off the court. Maybe some pics with her in swim gear if you can find them. We need to get to the bottom of Lance's poor play!
Lance Thomas.
Probably the fakest veteran I've ever seen.
Acting like he's done shyt in the league.
Triple is a bit envious?
Lance is OK in m book. He is over paid? So what, get in line. Im not going to hate on a guy because of his money.

Oh, snap.
That'll show him.
Sorry to hear about LT being out, but he wasn't playing well anyway. Maybe that explains his subpar play. Or he could just not be very good.
He may not get back on the court much as a Knick.

Thing about Thomas is, he could probably help a good team.
Stuff like that always gets lost in translation.
Some players would be more or less effective depending on the talent around them.
Lance Thomas could help most contenders a few mins a night.
