Guess even the most dedicated draft rebuilders know its time to add a high-priced vet eventually.
formidable defensive trio for philly.
the questions that will determine whether it will be ok, good or great:
1. spacing fit on court - they only have one shooter w/ reddick. (maybe a bought out korver down the road?)
2. locker room fit in general. butler has caused locker room issues on both teams. and simmons + embiid are not quiet personalities - so let's see how it shakes out.
sixers had to make this deal so i ain't mad at them. probably takes butler out of all other team's FA targets b/c this deal is probably made with an extension in mind. but 5 year $190 for a 30 year old? that's rough.
raptors, boston, philly, milwaukee...indy. lebron left and now the east playoffs look to be very fun. any one of 4 teams can come out.
I've been riding Simmons pretty well in Fantasy Bball but shit with the spacing coming with Jimmy and Jimmy's need of the ball to operate I think Inshould trade Ben.
Wow. That puts the Sixers right there with the Raptors, and Celtics in my opinion.

I auto drafted Saric and he has not been that good. Not sure how things will go for him in Minny.

I still have raps and Celtics higher but this puts the 76'ers on par with the Bucks.
Also I really expect the Wiz to make some changes. They've been struggling and the East just got tougher.
Like if we're not getting KD..... would a Enes/Lee trade for Otto Porter be crazy?

I think that would be a great trade.

It would have to get done before season end (Enes a UFA), and that would auto put Knicks out of free agent market, so I don't think this would happen

Otto Porter is an efficient player but he is not a high volume producer. You can't go from KD to Otto Porter as your back up plan. If we get Porter it should be because we want him, not because we struck out on KD.

I'll take your trade
I'm going to try and trade him for Tatum or Klay......

You may be able to get Klay. I know I wouldn't trade Tatum for Butler now.

Idk, we're going to miss out on KD (and all the other stars) it might make sense to take a contract that ends the same time as Timmy to then be able to go after another Max FA in 2 years (21-22 season).
We would still be in KP's prime but hopefully at that point the Knicks would be a playoff team.
It's a risk, but I don't see KD, or Kawhi coming here and the tier below them (Randle, Oubre, and Rozier) want to get paid and 4-5 year contracts.

It would be for Simmons and he is putting up almost a triple double a night.
warriors are in their own tier.
but i think that's where the west's power teams end. the next 4 teams are all in the east (tor, bos, phi, mil). i think houston slots at 6.
Hmm, not sure if Embiid and butler will get on personality wise, or even butler and fultz.
If I were the twolves I would have gone for the rockets deal and landed 4 picks. Still fingers crossed we can maybe trade lee to the twolves for bayless's expiring
LOL -Toronto is a power team? How do you define power teams?
