The knicks plan has been wait until their players value reaches rock bottom then then trade them for 2nd round picks or eat their contracts..sign a few FA cast offs like Jack, KOQ, Noah, Beasly, dwill, AA...and prey they step up, which they do for periodically
Now this yr is an utter mess, guys in and out of the rotation,one day you start, the next your off the bench, then 3 or 4 DNPs, they come back have a couple nice games, fall right back into bad habits
Frank is shooting even worse than last yr, trey burke doesnt even have a role, mario looks 10x worse than last yr, 2 way players that never see a day in the G league.
If the knicks are smart, trade frank while he stills has value(he's not a good fit), trade kanter for a new age big who can shoot beyond 6 feet, trade burke if he's not in your future plans..
Do what danny ainge does, trade talent, for better FIT

Yup. This was our 2nd true rebuild. The first time was with Gallo, The Mayor and Mozzie. Then we traded for Melo and scrapped it. We gotta stop with quick fixes and see this through. If it doesn't work fine..at least we tried. I rather enjoy the journey. The destination is great but it will be sweeter when we get there.
KP, Frank, Knox, Dot, Mitch, Trier...I want to roll with these guys. Mudiay, THJR, Vonleh are players I would like to keep but I would not be sad if they are not here next year. Rebuidling has growing pains. Looks at the Sixes and before them the celtics. It can happen. Just need to be patient

Agreed. Like ive said many times we tried the whole "win now" approach many many times and crashed and burned. Now im not saying we shouldnt have tried that but I feel we did it too long. I feel nowadays you need to build a foundation through drafting then you can add pieces...we have seen that with other teams
