According to Mills state of the team address today KP has only just started 1 on 0 practice, and won’t be evaluated again properly until mid February, so (this is purely my speculation) looking like if he does play this season it will just be a couple of games near the end

At this point, there is no point on rushing him back even tho he is more ready than they say

Knicks may say they aren't tanking, but they certainly are.

To be honest, without a talent like Porzingis, the Knicks are boring and hard to watch most of the time.
Thank goodness for Knox, he is bringing some interest to these games.

Glad they are taking this slow and not counting on KP's lizard like healing powers.

No reason to rush him. I do hope he gets 10-15 games just to knock off rust

Knicks are doing everything right. They have the youngest roster in the leagues and may be finding some nice contributors from the scrap heap. All the young guys have struggled but also shown improvements and had those moments where you think you can be patient and wait because its only glimpses but you SEE it.

We are on a collision course with a top 5 pick are are certainly in position to win the thing.

The players are bonding with the coaching staff and there is an environment that is teaching first.

KP is not being rushed back. He's working with the staff and building a relationship.

We need to have another good offseason and hopefully get lucky and get Zion (we are doing everything possible!).

Everything is going great.

Look how good Phili looks. Brown, like Fizdale was hired to develop players. Brown's first 4 seasons he lost 63, 64, 72 and 54 games. There is a plan here. This is the right way to do this. When KP comes back next year the Knicks are not rebuilding.

Makes sense. He needs 20 games to get his rhythm back then next year I expect him to be a star again.

I don't think he will be able to stay healthy. I hope he stops with the high flying dunks. The guy always looks awkward when he lands. It won't be long before he tears up his knee again
