In the Bucks game in which Porzingis was injured last year, I sensed throughout that game that the Bucks and Giannis in particular were playing an edgy physical game - one in which they would eventually damage a player. It happened to be Porzingis.
I filed the thought in the back of my head at the time and chalked it up to maybe a Jason Kidd effect. But its the same thing this year. Why Hezonja didn't play better not be because of Giannis's threat. I mean that kind of thing alters the game - 1 less player.
I'm no Kanter fan but I think he too was getting a bit fed up with the entitlement effect of Giannis. He's a player who truly gives me bad vibes.
Look at it this way, it will be that much more gratifying to play against which ever team he is on and beat them in the playoffs
