wherever kawhi signs next year, it most likely will be a 1+1 or a 2+1 type of deal - getting him to 30 years old where he can get a super max.

so was it a worthwhile return on derozan to get a one-year rental and an anticipated usual early bouncing from the playoffs?

Hmm I see what you are doing there. So would we want to trade KP and more for AD just to watch him buy an expensive home in Los Angeles right as his contract is about to expire. That would be bad.
