He looked impressive when I saw him play summer league a few years ago. He looked really polished with a developing face up game. I looked at some Piston's boards when he got cut and they seemed to love him personally, but they thought he was too unathletic to take advantage of his stretch skills. I read an interview with Casey where he raved about Ellenson’s work ethic. He said he is the first guy in the gym and the last guy to leave. He also said he thought Ellenson was done a disservice by not getting more playing time in the g league his rookie year.
