Trade DSJ and a future pick to NO for #4 and draft this guy.

I like that idea. Especially if it's one of Dallas's picks. Too much guilt around managing our own playoff timeline to value Knick draft picks.

Of course not. Lol. We would though.

NOLA is or was supposedly looking to move up!

They don't need a point guard. Would anyone here
do Knox and swap places for a future 1st round pick?

jamp @ 6/19/2019 4:47 PM
Isn't Ingram hurt?

Definitely seems he has a lakers promise (refused to work out or talk with teams at the combine, is a lakers fan and was sat next to Lebron at that recent event, also is represented by the same agency), but I hope we’ve done due diligence, his shot looks nice:

Of course considering his lack of games played last year, combined with no interview or workout would make it a huge gamble.

There is a reason its called a lottery. You need luck getting a high pick and then you need even more luck once you make the pick. Hoping the little you see in these players transitions into a good player at the NBA level. The players are all so close in talent. NO ONE knows who will be the best. It's all a somewhat educated guess. Like the fat guy at the race track claiming he knows horses.

With that said, think we stick with the kid that competed against top teams and put together great numbers....RJ!

An unprotected first may do it, but then maybe it makes no sense for the Knicks in this new volatile lottery.

We need a quality wing. Would rather roll with DSjr for a season, see what he worked on in the offseason. Knowing everyone from camp...on. Smith has more of an above the rim game, better floor general, stronger. His 3pt shooting off the dribble was very good before his last injury. Speaking of injury, Garland has one more knee surgery, it might affect his explosiveness. Has trouble finishing now. DSjr has that extra tendon which helps him heal faster.

Kadeem Allen was almost surgical, the way he ran the offense. Was impressed. We have two good prospects to give an extended look. Would rather plug a hole at 2, with a player with superstar potential. See if either (or both) of the PGs we have now can help the team going forward.

Garland is a good prospect but I agree with this post...Allen is definitely a keeper. Makes you wonder what the plans are for Frank. Definitely not at the point.

The plan is to trade him for late first.

Not sure if he's worth it...

NOLO now has Ball and Holiday, so DSJ cleary won't get it done.

They already have enough young guys which is why they don't care about the 4th pick.

Perhaps Mitch would be a better option for them, and It would be good for the knicks too, turning last yrs 2nd round pick into this yrs 4th overall pick..

Garland looks the part. I will say that Barrett is a much better interview than Garland. Barrett is more passionate and engaging and comes across as a guy who will put in the work. Garland seems to have an arrogance about him (which may very well be a good thing) but not quite as engaging and doesn't have the big star presence about him in a guy that will come in as the expected (unfairly) savior of the Knicks. Again, not really sure if any of that matters, but just my observation based on draft coverage the last few days.
