Seems like the sort of b!tch move KD would do.

Nothing surprises me with these "super stars"

I read it had been on sale since April, so hopefully that means it's BS!
I don't really care one way or another tbh. We're going to get two or three ballers no matter what. For example, Boogie is likely available and he balled in game 2. Not that I am advocating for him, but I would be pretty pumper with a Boogie/Mitch tandem for the next 4 to 6 years. No matter what, we will get a serious influx of talent

Some players you wonder about their motor, after they win a ring. Id put Cousins on that list. Id prefer a Draymond/Mitch frontcourt. Although I doubt he is going anywhere.

Not worried about his motor, im worried about his mind. snarky kind of dude for sure. very talented for sure!!! I'd be more worried about his motivation after signing a big contract. Financially content vs. content to win a ring? Lets be real, if Durant has "asterisks" because he came to a ready made team then Cousins has layers of them should GSW win this series. He played 30 games with them this season. That's it. Kid is a talent. He is a salty one.
NBA media is going to be insufferable when we strike out on FA's. I would rather strike out than force it with AD. If we can't gt Durant play the 3 year plan. Take on horrendus contracts for draft picks

You're making AD's upcoming deal out to be John Wall level lol It won't be that bad. I agree that the AD deal only makes sense if Durant comes. We need to continue collecting assets if the KD plan falls through.

Yeah, that's the worst bit of it for me- I'm fine switching to a multi year slow rebuild, but hearing the media and the fans of other teams gleefully mocking us (especially when the Nets sign Kyrie) is going to be intolerable.

Why?
Warriors own his full Bird Rights and can give him more years/more AAV/more contention possibilities than any other team.
I think most people really don't get the "Will He/Won't He" shit is fabricated by writers/marketers/ad guys what work for Nike and the networks. Durant might leave. Or he might not. But this stuff he says to the press is not just random stuff. It's actual blueprint and script he has to follow.

This. I'd much rather accumulate assets and use cap space to get draft picks. We take back bad contracts but hopefully they happen to be vets that can guide and mentor our youth.

Draymond in NY? Now THAT would be the ultimate bitch move. Then dare KD to follow him. Don't think this FO is up for that kind of drama.

Have no idea what you are talking about. Draymond going to the Knicks would make him a "bitch"?
Perry/Mills signing Green would make them bitches?

1. Draymond and KD have the unpleasant history, right?
2. Draymond gets signed to the Knicks before KD, in the midst of all this KD to Knicks media hype.
3. Draymond isn't the most stable of NBA personalities to begin with.
You don't see the potential drama in any of this? Not saying our FO would be making a bitch move, since I would love to have Green here, just Draymond creating Draymond bitchiness. I have no idea how you don't see that storyline would be the definition of bitch-filled reality show TV.
Do you think KD is coming here if Green signs here first?
the drama part would be fun, no doubt. beyond the kd part, draymond's also the garnett/oakley/rodman type that you love if he's on your team and absolutely hate if he's on any other. and i really do hate this guy. and his whole f'g team. rooting for him would be like rooting for the iron sheik (cue fishmike: "there's something wrong with rooting for the iron sheik???")

Doubt Perry/Mills would sign Green if Durant said that move would be a non-starter to coming to NY. If either of them made some kind of handshake agreement to come to NY, and backed out a the last minute, that would be a "bitch move". Otherwise its just business.
Not saying Green would be my first, or even second, or third choice. Still would take him over Cousins.
