Im a little puzzled why they arent running any plays for RJ other than the first possession. Iggy showing his talent. I think he could be another 2nd round gem
Not quite sure what he is, but the kid is bringing the effort.
Seems like he has to be a 3, though I wish he had quicker feet as a defender. When we got him I wondered if he could play PF, but he's smaller than I thought he was when we got him.I don't want to get attacked, but he seems like a more confident offensive player than Barrett right now, and more efficient.
He even shows some good passing instincts.
I agree with StarksEwing...he was a steal as a #2. If he had played another year he might have been a late teens #1.
Nobody will attack you. So far Iggy has been tremendous. Barrett has had a better game but is probably still getting over some nerves/rust. I would like them to run more plays for him to get him in a flow
Stop attacking him for not wanting to be attacked, you attacker...
hahaha
Yeah...I'm losing all my confidence.Iggy does have a little Trier in him, maybe too aggressive on offense at times. Does move better without the ball, though.
Rather have a player who is overly aggressive rather than overly passive...
Barrett is likely going to need a lot takes to the rim this season, before he shows some consistency, bound to get ugly at times. Wouldnt go into panic mode about it. Still a freshman recruit, will need time.
This game is showing why a PG who can get buckets (and pass) is important. Kadeem has been a good distributor, defender, but he hasnt been enough of a threat.
Chandler wrote:Barrett needs to reboot. Really pressing. Guys are bigger and quicker even in SLWhen Iggy shoots I expect a bucket. Not so w RJ.
Still kids both of them
I think he will be ok. I agree he is pressing. Both are kids. I think both are gonna be key pieces for us going forward

He is in his own head right now that's why he looks so sluggish...
Barrett looks terrible. This is summer league act like a lottery pick.
Pretty troubling we are losing again with our two cornerstones out there playing in their second year. Not a great sign.
Allen has more experience than anyone on the roster but he is not playing like it at all...I thought he would dominate.

Harper has been giving the Knicks fits
8 turnovers on 3-13 coming off of 4-18.
Iggy has a nice motor out there.

I figured you would post something like this

Thought the scoring would be there as well. At least he is finding other ways to contribute.

If I judged Iso off of his first two SL games last year I would have cut him before training camp. Don't take SL seriously.
Iggy is gonna be a MSG favorite
It’s not troubling?
We have Allen, Knox, Mitch out there. We shouldn’t be struggling. We shouldn’t have lost to NO the other night either with Trier playing with the above group.
Our second round pick looks like an Allstar out there.
Young guys are supposed to struggle. You just want to see positives.

Agreed. I hate overreactions. Is he struggling? Yes. Is it only 2 SL games? Yes

He’s pressing
Last year KK looked like Superman and Trae looked like crap
I suspect Kadeem was told to distribute. If not then he’s looking poor given how much experience he has
Flava Flav sighting...PE in the house...

There are positives. Its summer league dude. Guys are working off rust and working on some things. Just be patient

Not after one game it isnt. They had a scoring PG who opened up the floor, we didnt. Individually Knox, Mitch, Iggy had good games. When they have Smith jr or Payton to pass to them, things should look better.
Iggy is looking great. Wooten is a live body
