Iggy is looking great. Wooten is a live body
Barrett lost that game.. just say’n
well.....looks like we aren't good in summer league either
Watching the second half on delay. Wooten looks like a keeper. Iggy has been awesome.
Man Knox should sit next game. Going under the screen on multiple possessions vs a guy who only shoots 3’s.... thanks Knox you lost the game tonight with your zero effort defense

Please, when the question of G League comes up for RJ,SEND HIM! None of that, "what is he gonna learn there" crap. Don't make the same mistake we made with Frank.
For a top 3 pick Barrett looks horrible to me. Horrible defender. Can’t shoot. Bad decision maker. Not explosive. Looks slow.
What makes him talented or special?

That was really disappointing. For all our talk about position-less basketball too

Fiz is not going to give him the same rope he did last season...there's too many FAs signed quite willing to take his mins.
Iggy has been very impressive.

Im a little puzzled why they arent running any plays for RJ other than the first possession. Iggy showing his talent. I think he could be another 2nd round gem
Not quite sure what he is, but the kid is bringing the effort.
Seems like he has to be a 3, though I wish he had quicker feet as a defender. When we got him I wondered if he could play PF, but he's smaller than I thought he was when we got him.I don't want to get attacked, but he seems like a more confident offensive player than Barrett right now, and more efficient.
He even shows some good passing instincts.
I agree with StarksEwing...he was a steal as a #2. If he had played another year he might have been a late teens #1.
Nobody will attack you. So far Iggy has been tremendous. Barrett has had a better game but is probably still getting over some nerves/rust. I would like them to run more plays for him to get him in a flow
Stop attacking him for not wanting to be attacked, you attacker...
hahaha
Yeah...I'm losing all my confidence.Iggy does have a little Trier in him, maybe too aggressive on offense at times. Does move better without the ball, though.
Rather have a player who is overly aggressive rather than overly passive...
No doubt about it...just have to learn to control it.

Pretty sure Mitch was not supposed to drop back into the paint. Maybe show a bit on the shooter

Wooten is a bit like a smaller version Mitch on D. Let him play 35MPG at Westchester and work on his offense. Just turned 21 in April. Would definitely keep him at this point.

Maybe. But those guys played a year together. Either horrible communication or coaching

Or maybe Mitch fucked up. It’s PnR defense, both players have to know what to do
Who was the Knick that looked like an allstar years ago? Was it Lampe?
We had arguably 3 starters play tonight (Robinson,Knox, & Barrett) and we lost to the suns summer league team that did not suit up their 2 first round picks - pathetic

Nothing about his game jumps out at you at this point, except the fact that nothing jumps out at you.
I wanted to see a little more of Hinton, who I don't think played in the 2nd half, and less of Barrett, who probably needed to sit and watch.
You wonder what is going on in his head when he's seeing Iggy, his fellow Canadian, playing the way he did.
I didn't research Barrett that well because he was the consensus pick at 3. The Texas Tech kid, Jarrett Culver intrigued me a bit, but I thought Barrett, or Morant, if Memphis took Barrett, was a no brainer.
