Stockpile of the medicore continues. Remember when we had this guy for a couple of months?
Do they have a trade pending to unload Dotson, Trier, Frank combination?

Ellington/Bullock seem to block Dotson's chance of ever getting a spot in the rotation. Its a shame as he has really earned a chance by now.

It seemed like they were trying to unload Frankie for awhile. What’s crazy is that while we are all annoyed with Frank and really appreciate Dotson, Frankie totally has the higher ceiling.

No. Bullock, Wayne and Taj play hard. They are also on deals that can easily be traded either for a disgruntled star, to a team that needs help for a playoff run or to teams seeking cap space. Nice signing.

Im guessing if they do it, draft picks will be coming our way. Hope so for young players.
When are we gonna announce that we resigned Clarence Weatherspoon and Howard Eisley?

I don't think it would be Frank alone. I think they would look to package 2 or 3 of them for a proven guy. Combined they net 10mil in salary. Put that together with their remaining cap and maybe thats what they are looking at?
Player development youth movement looks like it’s out the window. This team just can’t get out of its own way. They are making moves like chicken little.

What are you talking about? Knicks needed to step up their vet game. Lance wasn't cutting it. Getting guys that play hard on short, value contracts is the right move in my opinion.

Nothing against Lance but you need high character vets that can play. Also, unlike Lance, these guys have enough talent and contracts that can be traded.
A young team needs some veterans to help either on the bench, at practice or just giving the youngsters pointers.
I don't think in the case of Ellington it means that Dotson is a goner or won't see time on the court. I think you need talent and weapons on the bench and this guy is another option for Fiz.
A veteran isn’t a guy that’s been in the league for his entire career and has just been a journeyman. How much money can we throw out the door on unimpressive mediocre dog shit talent.
I’m stunned, Mills and Perry don’t have a fucking clue. Pouts and Randle ok, but the other three?! Maintain your cap!!! These guys suck let’s get some draft picks and build a package for the future.
Typical NYK, an absolute disgrace.
Come on guys pretend you know what the fuck you’re doing!!!

Randle and Portia I’m ok with the other moves are just moves that are going to step on the youth movements toes.

agree except i'm still skeptical of Randle and Portis. Each is 24 and on their third team!! that's two teams that knew them and decided they weren't worth building around.
Randle is known as low D and low IQ (probably a perfect fit for our team actuallY)
Portis is a puzzle. I actually liked him quite a bit when he first started, but Chicago punted and then the Wiz so I'm a bit concerned there's something going on there.

2 years, thats all you need to know. Its not about their numbers, its about what they can do to help some of our younger players become stars, or quality role players. If these guys were signed for 4 years, Id get the anger. They can be gone in short order with those 2 year deals, if a trade for a star looks doable before the next big FA class.
