He's definitely a solid pick up, and he's gotten better every yr he's been in the League. I just hope he gets put in the right role so he continue to get better
arkrud @ 7/26/2019 8:19 AM
Very centered person.
People like him make this country what it is.
Glad he will be a apart of our team.

Holy ^W#@%&!

WOw - I love this guy, and he is a fantastic signing for this franchise. I know he is going to give his max effort every single game, and that is the kind of enthusiasm and drive we need to spread to build a winning culture.

if he's such a tough guy hard worker why does he suck on D?

He may need to add some sugar to his diet as this helps brain to work better.
Defense required fast reaction not only physically but also mentally.
Player need to think the game at very fast speed. So some extra sugar helps.

I've heard Eddy is HOF level when defending the Shoney's buffet.

We are in the midst of a cultural shift. Hard working blue collar players. Hope he signs long term, when we start adding championship players. Right now we just building the foundation.

There was an old poster here who swore by squat thrusts...

I was hoping for some defensive plays- but here is a clip from his first game with the Wizards. Nice versatility - maybe we're just getting offense from him- and that's ok, you still need to score points to win.

Bobby Portis is the kind of player I want on this team. Toughness and hard work. I think we will learn more tidbits about these other players as the year unfolds. This team will have toughness and the youths have room to grow.

What NBA player got dramatically better at defence after being below average/low effort in the NBA? Some guys have gone from horrible to average- but is there a dramatic turnaround example?

I saw an article today (Berman?) where he said he gave up sugar for 10 days.
GustavBahler @ 7/27/2019 11:27 PM
Remember that, and wikipedia. Never came back to talk about the few holdouts. Never got the motivation.

Knicks had a historic level of open cap space and needed to get to the salary floor

They signed the players who were willing to sign with them ( players with better options went elsewhere) and would not be able to leverage more than a 1 year deal ( Randle is the exception)

That's it.

Create the story you want though, you seem to be comfortable doing it.
