I have no doubt melo could have adapted to a journeyman role if he wanted to. He can rebound and pass. I have seen this. What I have not seen is him do as part of a team concept. Melo did something very egregious in his last two stops to not get a chance to play again. Was it his defense? Inability to play a role lessor than his ego thought?

Right, going to the playoffs is not winning, when we hadn't been there in the previous 6 seasons and 1 out of 7 is actually better to say than what actually is.
