According to the Fiz haters around here, Lance don't know what he is talking about!!

Whom do I listen to...Lance or the haters...hmmm....
You’re joking right. What player or anyone who is sane say anything derogatory towards someone in public. Lance would say the same thing to his enemies if were for the public.
More from Lance. Sounds like stuff he says about every coach he has played for?

Uh, yeah, Antonio Brown for instance has a lot of nice things to say about his former teams and employers. He's just the most obvious. Trashing your former team is far more common than praising them -- at least that's what gets repeated.

Did you leave out to read the part that had the word “sane”. Antonio Brown is not mentally stable. There is something seriously wrong with that dude. You’re comparing a well thought out person like Lance with Antonio Brown.
Who is lance comparing Fiz to(a breath of fresh air), Fisher and JH?
Everybody loves FIZ..
He coached a team to 17 wins, tied for the worst in 50+ yrs in the franchise history.
Now he's been put in a even more ridiculous situation..

I guess he is comparing him to other coaches.
He even explained why he liked Fiz. Nobody likes 17 win season.
Is blame that relevant given the roster and the implications of what happened?
Can you like Fiz but not his first year record? Nobody likes losing.
Fiz apparently coached every player and the team did not tune him out.
What does that mean for the future?
Stay tuned. Its why they play the games.

Vmart is right.. players never say bad things when they leave

Wait... was that a serious post????
no one is doubting Fizz's enthusiasm or desire.
IMO being a good coach requires a lot more than that. Keeping my fingers crossed but i am very skeptical about his coaching chops. I'm sure if he had LBJ and Wade in their prime he could win

And if he didn't have talent, the opposite holds true too

Fiz coached 17 different players last season, in which none of them showed any significant progress by the end of the season.

Dude, enough with your BS already. I am completely and utterly tired of it.
Do you have anything of substance to add here or just blather that you Rain down on us?
How about you give us your assessment of each player on the roster year and what they did.
Start with Mitch Robinson and go from there.

These are facts, majority of the players are gone, which should tell you there wasn't 't a lot of positives
Coach David Fizdale has attributed much of Robinson's strong play lately to Jordan's influence, particularly Robinson being more vocal on the court and in huddles.
Fizdale would be the first take full responsibility (that what i like about him)
What I look for in a head coach is how smarter the players are playing. I don't like players who play hard and stupid, like a player hustling for a rebound, then throws a pass out of bounds.
Most young coaches need super star Vets to make them look good.
Mike Budenholzer players get smarter and better, korver, milsap, Al, THJ, mike scott, and the blew they're win projections out the window..That's How you know you have a good coach

Milwaukee went from 6th seed in 2017 to 7th seed 2018 to 1st with new coach, when Lebron left, Boston faltered and its Star player evolved to MVP. Got a really good Brooks Lopez also!
Front line of BroPez, Giannis and Middleton. Yes, coaches need all star talent to win. Your awesome!
You really think that Fiz should not get the credit for the development of Mitch because you found a quote? Lame dude.
Mudiay improved
Mario improved
Knox improved thru the season.
Trier developed
and we discussed Mitch who had been developing all season before Jordan.
YOu watched the games you'd see some of this.

Ok I admit I missed the "sane" part, you got me there. Nonetheless, players criticizing their former teams is pretty common -- just read Erik Flowers comments on the Giants yesterday. More often it is between the lines shade like you get from KP and OBJ for instance -- you can communicate to me the level of their sanity by whatever sources you have for that information. Certainly there is not much in the way of unmitigated praise by former players out there in my opinion. Lance's comments are incredibly positive which are far from the norm -- for whatever reasons one wishes to speculate. Dismissing them out of hand would indicate bias to me -- you know, like Fiz hate.

Well thought out person would never throw anyone under the bus. Lance is a smart guy who know you may need Fizz later in life. You don’t burn bridges. I have nothing against Fizdale he might the best guy you ever met. But let’s face it though he can’t coach for shyt. He went to the Grizzlies a perennial playoff team and destroyed the culture of stability that a team like the Knicks would die for. LeBron and Wade were upset the Grizzlies fired him that’s just friend looking out for each other and that doesn’t make him good either.
I’m not a fan of his because his coach if you call that leaves a lot to be desired. You can say he has a young team and this and that but establish a system. I blame management too for putting out an inferior product of mercenaries. They did it again this year which will again hind development.

I dont get why some try to act as if they didn't see what we were seeing.
Martin wants me to look on the bright side, but there was no bright side at all
A head coach as 3 major objective
1)Have your team well prepared every night
2)Have identity/style/system
3)Have a consistent rotation.
What's the difference between Fisher, JH, and Fiz ?

nah bro, I want you to act a lot less stupid. You are not keeping up with that
You stated that no player on the Knicks improved last year. Asked to eval Mitch, you went on to say Mitch improved.
Like that. Is this your level of back and forth?
My thing is i despise the rush to judgement -- see "Daniel Jones Effect." I'm not nominating Fiz for coach of the year before it begins. But let's give him half a chance -- last year was a tenth of a chance at best.
