Your mind is made up great. I will not judge him on the roster/situation of last season, you do great. I don't what's going to happen, seems you do, okay. I hope he does well.
If you read between the lines of fizdales press conferences, you quickly realize that he has no identity, or system.
His entire system is based on "LET ME SEE IF THIS WORKS"
He likes to give players the freedom to create and do them, which will always back fire when your not dealing with very high IQ players Like Labron or wade.
If a casual NBA fan asked you what kind of coach is fiz, the most you can say is he's a player friendly coach, who allows his player to go 1 on 1 and play iso ball 85% of the time..that's is identity.

Tell us if you have any idea the system he read in Memphis, what went right, what went wrong and how did the team contrast before he took over and after.
Cuz your basing his whole career on one 17 win season. He has 4 more years on his contract and unless he royally messes up he gonna be around for at least 4 of it.
NObody here will defend Fiz based on one season. You have stated your reasons, now if you want to be narrow and redundant then expect to be called Rainman. If you want to discuss the system Memphis ran with its roster before he took over, the roster he had, the roster and healthy of it in that time and the time he got fired, his problems with Gasol, and how the team after he left then feel free to contrast with his system last year. If you don't introduce new facets to a crackhead redundancy then expect to have no cred.
