This virus is bad bad news, mortality rate in Italy is 6% at the moment (850+ deaths out of 12,500 infections)- that’s crazy (might be inflated due to a lack of testing deflating the number of infections)

IMHO within 2 weeks we in the USA will know exactly how fucked up things are going to be. 2 weeks or less.

i read somewhere that the average age of fatalities in Italy is over 80 (average!!). not saying it's not an issue for all involved but a big issue for the very elderly

Think the projections in some European countries are rapid escalation over a two week period, but then things get even more horrific, with the absolute peak not being reached until 2 months after that. Germany anticipating 60 to 70 percent of the population getting infected. there is no way health care systems can manage even remotely if that were to happen. US is doubled screwed due to lack of free health care.

Mortality rate in Italy is so bad, we have to hope it’s an outlier and due to lack of testing. Then economic devastation and complete disruption to daily life for months.

Really have to hope some sort of miracle happens and it somehow doesn’t take off as projected.

Seems that people under 50 tend not to die or get too sick, but anyone elderly or with health issues (cancer diagnoses etc) are very vulnerable- mortality rate is horrific, and likely will get worse once health care gets overwhelmed (expect the to exclude them from treatment to focus on younger people with a better chance of recovery). The main threat for younger people is that they become carriers and pass it on to elderly relatives.

Contract workers, not salaried. Elton Brand can take a cut. Coaches, not all are wealthy but they are making mid six figures.
Let’s not over react.

It does say reduction in SALARY right?

Was there a follow up pertaining to where that money was being redirected? Cause I'm sure if it was going back into the pockets of the hourly/tip workers the Sixers would have highlighted that?

I didn't realize you had this kind of power, martin.

I can't imagine what ownership would have done if you did more than just raise your eyebrows...

Wow...I guess we know why Jamal Murray game didn't improve at the level most people expected. The Instagram hacker strikes once again!

Eff you money vs eff the world money...Jeannie and her siblings didn't stand a chance. Wonder if the Morris trade was part of Ballmer's honey trapping scheme on James

As long as the Knicks benefited, I don't care
