He will become 100% unstoppable. He needs to work on that right even more than he needs a shot. He will be impossible to read.
If RJ looks like this as a teenager, going up against grown men - experienced NBA players, it is just a matter of time (for that right).
And regarding his shot, this type of individual will certainly get that shot down.
The guys is on the road to be a star. Finally we drafted one.

And RJ re-classified to move himself UP a year when in high school. He could have been playing as a Freshman in college this year.
I have done a 180 since Summer League with regards to RJ and think he as a good chance to be a high level player in the league.
Definitely has to get that right hand going and hone his shot, but feel like those 2 things will come.
Different version of Paul Pierce. RJ not explosive but he gets to where he needs to be

Yeah, he could have been an incoming Freshman! I also wasn't that sold on RJ until seeing him play in Pre-Season. He clarified he has that IT factor, which in large part is his BBIQ and no quit mentality. And he has that build, that strong build. Imagine in a few years?
We all love a player who physically, with speed I mean, dominates. But little injuries can just derail those types. RJ has that bully mentality but with a head on his shoulders. Ok, he doesn't have any where near Melo's shot, but he has that physicality and that ability to make those around him better (which I think came to Melo a bit late.) I'm curious as to how he turns out and what we build around him. And perhaps we will have 1 or 2 more drafted impact players to put around him. (Cough ping pong balls, Cough, Dallas, cough.)
Funny, we have Daniel Jones on the Giants, drafted at around the same time as Barrett. Both might be "hidden" gems. At least, I think both are turning points. Time will tell.
I think he could be a go to player this year... so my view of him changed alot since summer league. He's very strong and has pro moves. He can facilitate... he has the full package. He definitely needs to clean up his jumper... he's gone right enough for me. Defending a left hander is tough. All he has to do is go right enough to keep the defense at bay. I think he's there... watch out when things start to click for the kid! I think we hit the jackpot.... and he comes from a fantastic family and is a gamer. We really came up with RJ

The Paul Pierce comp is spot on, definitely more so than D Wade. Lets hope he can get to that level.
