Barrett absolutely is a franchise talent. The question is can we put the infrastructure in place to develop him as such like Toronto did with Siakam. Barrett is more talented than Siakam and has done things only done by lebron at age 19.

I think you're confusing Barrett with Luka, but I agree with the general idea of what you are saying. In hindsight, I think we don't sign Randle if we knew RJ would develop at this rate. RJ is the point forward Fiz is searching for and Morris is the versatile four we need to stabilize the lineup.

Luka is on a different level of course. But Barrett has been doing some incredible things considering he should be a college freshman. I agree about the whole Randle thing. Morris came up last minute, so i think he wasn't even in the plan, and if he was early on, then Randle wouldn't have been signed. The Knicks will have to eventually choose between Morris and Randle at the 4. We saw yesterday against Boston, Randle is a better player without Morris because of spacing. As for Barrett, he is the most valuable profile in the league as a 2-way playmaking wing. That is the premiere positional value in the NBA to build around. Obviously he needs to improve on everything, but he fits the mold you want in a franchise player.
The problem with knox and robinson one can't play defense and the other one can't be on the court because one commits stupid fouls for no reason.I don't its fizdale being a problem for knox and robinson its them if they want playing time they got stop playing lazy.
