When you trade in a car you receive equal or lessor value. "why not just trade this kid for someone better"?
Why not click your heals, take TOTO and go back to Kansas? Its that easy right? Frank is a project. His value is not great.
"Frank needs to THis......Frank needs to that......why doesn't Fiz just......." As if Fiz and the 12 bench coaches who watch hours of video all day long have no clue to what Frank and company need to do? Think coaches are like "hey, I was reading knick fans online and maybe we need to tell frank he needs to be more aggressive!"......Or Perry is "I was dumbsruck, then knicks1248 says To just trade him for someone better, more suited for our needs and it was that simple!!, we are truly blessed to be in the mecca!"

Frank adding shotblocking to his game this year is next level shit man. Seeing him stand up vs. KP was nuts. I hope he's ours when he pops!

As soon as KD went down, I am pretty sure the Knicks' long term plans switched right to Gianis, and I kinda hope Milwaukee falters over the next year or so.
Never know how Frank and Mitch pan out but...
Mitch
Gianis
? (Morris)
RJ
Frank
That's Detroit 90's defense

That would be awesome. Im very big on defense and that lineup would be sick!!

and absolutely zero outside shooting
With that being said, I would welcome him with open arms.....and as for Frank. I'm not the biggest fan but we won't get much for him so the Knicks might as well keep him.

Yeah, pretty sure Washington and Orlando felt the same way about Ben Wallace before he landed on Detroit.
Tony Allen came off bench for the Boston teams that won championships and started for Memphis on teams that were just incredible defensively. At SHOOTING guard.
Frank projects to be more versatile version of Tony Allen. And so far this year he is shooting about 38% from 3pt land. Needs to maintain that.

Neither one of those players were asked to run the team...but I get what you're saying.
I just don't think he is an every day NBA starter and shouldn't stop the Knicks from upgrading that position.

Thanks Martin. Proves that even if he isn't filling up the box score with points his presence is extremely important out there

Suspect that this also has to do with fact that Knicks really haven’t played with another healthy PG yet

Its these beautiful stats that make me think what was Fizdale thinking. Frank is saving Fizdale’s job. He is giving the Knicks fans watchable basketball.
