Iggy UNLEASHED!! No sense sitting and watching a game, when you COULD BE PLAYING!!
Iggy was and still a major sleeper since draft day for me.
Anybody with his height and shooting ability, mixed with a little handle, should be able to score at this level. I think the question is always about his defense.

The G league is a much faster and better way to develop young players, and if knox, frank, trier, and mitch had spent some time down there, I think they would be playing much better this season, or least more consistent and polished

Mitch, Frank, and Knox have all taken steps forward this year

Are you suggesting they wouldn't have benefitted, or you just enjoy disagreeing with me for no real reason
They have taking Baby steps compared to players like Kennard and graham who played major minutes in the G league last season.

There is not quantifiable way to measure one player vs. another and who benefits from gleague or not. Each

How about counting the number of times you have the word "development" in the same sentences as the player in question who's not in the gleague?
I find it mesmerizing, in a rainman kind of way, that we're continually supposed to watch Knox and Frankie "develop" things like defense and shooting (respectively) during real live NBA seasons.

Thanks I couldn't find a link that worked

What was great was all the different ways Iggy was scoring. And while being defended for the most part. The few minutes he was on the court before being sent to G league, he looked a bit slow, flat footed. Good to have the minutes to get his legs, if anything.

Detlef took time before he was finally unleashed. He sat on the Pacers bench, then became an ultra sixth-man before he started. Something to keep in mind while Iggy develops.

I have such good memories of watching that bulls/sonics final in the 90s, can’t believe how Kemps career took a nose dive, it looked like he was ready to ascend during that series
Iggy is a professional scorer....in the right system, he would look like a star. In our system, he looks like a G league player. I hope we hold onto him and not trade him. His confidence alone will carry him through his nba career. But for the right move, u trade him no doubt. I just dont trust this regime to make any decent trades.

They've done pretty good in the draft these last two years. Let's hope they show a steady hand if/when trades come up.

our next coach will make proper use of iggy
iggy's a crazy scorer around the basket. looking like a shorter version of my current favorite scorer in the paint - d sabonis.

Yeah that's why his career rings bells. Not super athletic but can really play the game. I'm a big fan of Iggy
