It's the Nyets, who cares?
Conversely, if the Knicks had been 15-10 over most of Nov-Dec, the media would be buying helium and confetti for the parade...

Any chance we could work a miracle trade and get Dinwiddie for some of these PF's we have stockpiled?

I suppose if given the chance Knicks would have signed both. Durant would have been safe as he would not have expected to play. The Mental state of Kyrie is the most interesting aspect. Im sure any amount of due diligence understood Kyrie is "not like the other children" and it was to be expected. We not asking him to teach kindergarten or hire him as your financial advisor! Its basketball. He is a damn good player. Rondo is a wack job and as long as he does his job nobody cares. The aftermath of his Celtics departure has them singing more praise then scorching his memory. Fans are upset but we all know fans are not well heeled all the time. I suppose its about expectations. Nets should have been about even. Russell for Kyrie....two allstars. Nets should be about the same as last year.
The key addition was to be Durant and one year of the roster gelling. If knicks made playoffs last year they'd be on the team and it would be bad, but not as awful as if they came after last years shyt show, and it continued.

The media would be saying that it was the same old Knicks. Just glad we dodged that bullet. Id be more concerned with Irving's physical health. Most of his health problems have been in his legs. Now its the shoulder, and its apparently serious.

Knew it was a mistake to pursue them in the shape they're in. Not to mention Irving's abscence of leadership skills.

I could only imagine if we drafted Zion to go along with adding Kyrie and KD...Mills wouldn't be able to leave the house..

That team shoots way too many 3's, they literally live and die by them, and lately they have been dying

Your not misinterpreted.
You'd blame Mills for drafting Zion. You blame Mills for not being able to draft Zion.
Drunk uncle loses his balance. Can't stand to reason if you can't maintain balance.

The Knicks would be getting killed. The good news is no one cares about the Nets at all. To be locked into a four year deal with Kyrie is scary stuff.

Kyrie is a combination of both players. Not the best of both worlds.

If he really has been diagnosed with a mental illness, I think of Artest/Metta. He had a long road back into the league, but made it. Not necessarily a death sentence, so to speak. As I said, would be more worried about Irving's injuries.
