yeah it does. but not a lost future if they put him on a strict physical regimen this offseason. help this guy heal and build a sustainable core. than play to his basketball strengths which is being a bullish beast a la baron, wall, russ, etc.

Reading about Frank's groin issues, and Smith jr's issues with his core, wonder if yoga could help them?

Anyway, it does feel like a lost season. Hard to form an opinion without really knowing the extent of DSJr's injuries. Id send him to G-League to rebuild his confidence, before bringing him back. Isnt going to get far without getting his mojo back.

Has he actually been healthy at any point this season?

It certainly has seemed as though he has struggled with handling the pressure of being in NY and at this stage of his career, taking the next step and proving he belongs as anything other than a bench scrub.

At some point, it would be better for us to trade him, give him a fresh start with less pressure, and clear up the organizational focus to one less project.
