Portis
Randle
Morris
Is a lot better spacing than Taj or Mitch provide.
You can't have portis in there with Randle for extended periods. Complete layup line on defense. Eventually Mitch will play full-time.
Portis should be in the starting lineup.....
For the Beijing Ducks.
i don't understand the hate for portis. His game has shown flashes. He is young. His may yet improve.
He is not the reason we are losing. Could he be upgraded? Yes, but that player is not walking through the locker room doors any time soon.

Don’t understand the hate for Portis? I haven’t seen any flashes you’re talking about because I’ve watched Portis play for years.
He’s a 6 year veteran. This is who he is. He’s not improving. He’s been playing the same way for years.
He’s part of the collective reason why the team is losing - aka his lack of understanding and feel for the game coupled with his black hole offensive style and providing zero on the defensive end.
This guy is literally useless in the court if he’s not selfishly shooting every shot on offense.
Portis is a Jarred Jeffies but with longer range and not as nice a guy. Good player. Role player.

Bobby is a below average big man who is horrid defensively. His eFG% is way below average. By my count he has had 1 good game as a Knicks player

Small sample size. It could work depending on the matchup. But the defensive problems mentioned above make it a questionable lineup.
What about Bullock at the 3, Morris at the 4 and Mitch or Randle at the 5.

True, its only been deployed in 10 games so far. But it is our 6th most used lineup by minutes and by far the best net rating (29 net).
For reference:
Our most used lineup (241 minutes) is: .T. Gibson, .M. Morris Sr., .J. Randle, .F. Ntilikina, .R. Barrett (-6.7 net)
Our 2nd most used is (120 minutes): .M. Morris Sr., .E. Payton, .J. Randle, .M. Robinson, .R. Barrett is the only other lineup that has a positive rating. (0.4 net)
Our next three most used lineups are all terrible
3rd (74 minutes) M. Morris Sr., .J. Randle, .F. Ntilikina, .M. Robinson, .R. Barret (-23.4 net)
4th (74 minutes) T. Gibson, .M. Morris Sr., .E. Payton, .J. Randle, .R. Barrett (-17.1 net)
5th (59 minutes) M. Morris Sr., .J. Randle, .B. Portis, .F. Ntilikina, .R. Barrett (-32.1 net)
