I'm interested in Maxey, but like I said with KP we'll have the inside scoop.

I'm sure Warriors want to push Wiggins to Wizards in a Beal deal. Wiggins doesn't make sense to the Wizards given their current roster construction, but he's better than nothing. Maxey rumors make sense with our Kentucky connection. Wouldn't be in love with this pick since I feel there will still be players with higher ceilings/floors at that spot.

Not sure whether to trust that source after reading the second bit- ha ha!

His supermax extension will scale with the drop in BRI and the cap. Insurance will cover 80 percent of his salary if he's out for a majority of that season. It's less likely insurance can fight paying out the claim if Wall misses the entire season(s)

Technically speaking, a team can trade for Wall, get some draft assets from Washington to do it, then pay 20 cents on the dollar in cash but have 100 percent of face value of the contract account against the total cap for the cap floor. They'd also be able to apply for the Disabled Player Exception on a year to year basis. That's actually legal manipulation of the cap and no one could do jack shit about it.

If a team works out a private agreement with Wall to sit out the rest of his supermax for a cash kickback, that would allow a team in a bad talent position like the Knicks to simply focus on playing younger players. Instead of signing Tier 4 vets to overpaid contracts in the hope you have a 10 percent chance to trade them later.

Bizarre as shit, but the Wall contract could potentially end up an asset if you just look at it strictly from a cash basis. That's a sign the NBA economic system is completely fucked up. The only thing I can think of that's more bizarre is Ellen Page, looking like an jilted aging 12 year old boy with a receding hairline and an entitled SJW complex.

Yeah, the Ellen Page dig was unnecessary, don't know why anyone would have anything against her.

Don't see why the Wizards would give away draft assets, they're not signing anyone, they may as well keep Wall and ride out the bad contract. Plus if they decide to move Beal for draft picks, they'll want to have their own picks too to speed up the rebuild.

Can create his own shot, finishes really well at the rim, is a much better shooter than his numbers say, has a high motor and can be a tenacious on ball defender. He has the potential to be this years Donovan Mitchell. And end of the lotto pick that in several years will end up being one of the top 5 players picked this year.

I loved those books. It's tough after learning so much about Herbert's beliefs and the way he treated his son, but I can still appreciate the level of detail imagination he put into that series.

Right now they have Zach, Dunn and Coby White as their PGs with Dunn expiring? Can see Chicago taking a flier on Hayes and letting him marinate off bench for a bit.

I keep looking at teams and I think if there is any team that bites on a trade with the warriors it’s the Pistons. Pistons can absorb Wiggins, or just trade Kennard for Looney and LaMelo and the warriors could get Okoro or Vessel who I think fits way more what they want.

I also feel the Hornets take Wiseman, they wanted Drummond last year and they really have a need at center.

I read a few places fans like Hayes way better than most scouts do and I see him falling into the late lottery.

Kira is the 3rd PG in this draft in my opinion and might have the most upside. He can create in the half court and we need that, a lot. People say he might fall, but with the Suns picking right after us I don’t think the knicks should take that chance.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's disheartening to know that Cthulu probably was inspired by some ethnic butcher that Lovecraft passed by in disgust on a Saturday morning. Some of the writers of my favorite works had views that were downright despicable. I understand some of it was born from the times they lived in.

2) Warriors trade down to the Bulls- Bulls trade the 4th and either Coby White, Markkanen or Wendell Carter for the 2nd pick and take Ball

3) Hornets- Wiseman

4) Warriors- Deni

I read the ringer draft guide which mentioned that Deni is an awful FT shooter which is a huge red flag. The league is quickly going towards if you can't shoot then you're not on the floor when it matters.

Totally kills any interest in Deni for me. Also it's not like he's playing in the toughest non NBA league while playing for Maccabi What am I missing?

Not Biyombo. He can move a little off the dribble, better hands, already has a better understanding of when to dive to the hoop and has way better lateral quickness. Yeah, he has some holes to fill, but so does every one in the top 10.

i saw something someplace about the guy for some efficiency statwhich had him up there with KAT etc. plus he always seems to be underappreciated...

i don't know enough about college hoops to add anything intelligent. The last time i was a college hoop junkie i thought guys like Derrick Chievous and Willie Glass were can't miss. I suspect you're now saying, "who?" which is my point. I even sucked when i followed college

No worries. I acknowledge he has holes in his game and look forward to these back and forth conversations. The truth is that no one really knows. I thought Okafor was going to be a stud and Devin Booked was going to be a solid 15 ppg scorer. That's why you need the to talk about the positives and negatives of each prospect. Even then, we'll still never know until they suit up. I imagine and hope that's what our scouts are doing now.
