So, on a net basis we have traded the 27th first rounder this year for two second rounders in 2023. Because Quickley could have been had with our existing 38th second rounder.

ok was too busy watching to comment in real time
but overall a fan of the draft in terms of team buiding
obi is a bit of a gamble but if they're right they got an ambidextrous (dont underestimate that) amare 2.0 Huge if successful but no guarantee
we'll love quickly is my guess. I watched one game and suck in general and projecting talent but i remember vividly waiting to be impressed by tyresse et al and kept thing Quickley was a step ahead always doing the right thing, My crystal ball says never an all star but always a contributor
we're still very much a work in process but happy with the draft
now get rid of the turnover dumb dumb randle. get a veteran pg and get rid of other guys who can hit free throws and we'll take a step in the rigth direction

What a confusing way to end what started as a promising draft.
Quickley seems to be considered a reach by all and not the answer at PG that we were looking for.
Then this Oturu move makes no sense at the moment.

Maybe if you get two 2nd rounders it makes a little more sense.
But you make a move to get 25 and 33 to then just flip it for an unknown pick 2 years away?
Still seems like we are missing something.

2023 looks like it is going to be the year of vaunted double draft. I think a lot of team will be stockpiling picks in 2023. Not mad at this.
