Morris channeling some Bernard King with the deft touch on turn arounds!

We are only a few good moves away from making the playoffs and being relevant...

This team, win or lose, is actually developing a defensive identity recently.
We play a slow pace, 30th in the league of late.
It is an effective strategy for now.

There’s just poor balance. You need to pick between Randle and Morris and replace one with a good guard that can shoot.

Dude our young players suck. Our vets are 3rd rate. This team needs a miracle. I question whether we even have one building block. Mitch hasn't progressed at all and barrets ceiling is a solid starter.

and yet we just gutted out a great win against a winning team, something that hasn't happened in a while, didn't happen last year.

This team has a lot of building blocks. We're still seeking an identity, and we still lack star power.

I think you add a PG in the off season like Fred VanVleet, add a draft pick and keep some of the key parts together, and I think we have a team that can win 40+ games.

And look - I see our struggle with consistency. We look great at times, then lay an egg like we did against Memphis. We need some guys to develop the killer mentality like what MJ and Kobe had.

Building blocks? It was a nice win our 14th of the season. 14th!

Morris is having a career year, his value has and will never be higher, you get what you get for him now. Don’t think twice. He’s making $15MM what do you think his agent is going to ask for? You want to pay this guy $20MM plus?

Our young players are really bad. Smith JR sucks, Knox is lost. Kadeem Allen plucked out of the G league looks better than three lottery picks.

Stock pile some assets and let’s get Barret to the 3 position where he belongs in the second half of the season.

I think you either have it or you don't. I think Morris has it. I think Barrett might have it. Taj and Dotson have the hard-working gene. I don't think it's something that happens after you get to this level.

Nalod @ 2/1/2020 10:35 PM
Can’t put a ceiling on Barrett. Thats just the bitterness coming out. Not saying Knicks deserve the benefit of the doubt.
Its gonna be what will be. The future is ours to see...........

Mitch has progressed slightly and no way you can put that ceiling on Barrett. No way to know how they both develop but they both have big potential if things go right.
