The Knicks released a statement Tuesday saying that Stoute “does not speak on behalf of the New York Knicks personnel and basketball operations.”
Stoute added, “I inadvertently insinuated about Knicks personnel.”

I'm thinking he just had a bad day. Still, I will wait before I call him a guru. This is the first time I heard him speak in a basketball capacity. Never heard a peep from him when he was working for the Nets. His job is to determine what trim would look good on the home and away jerseys, not management decisions.
