Really? Hoping Rose hires an experienced gm or keeps Perry and takes a thorough approach and doesn’t just go with the guy campaigning the most for the job. I think I would want MJax over Thibs. A good friend of mine who is from the Bsy Area thinks Jax would be perfect for the job. This guy covered the Warriors back when Nellie and PJ coached the team and still has friends on the beat.

Then he understands Jax issues he that lead to his departure?
A man can change.
Does Jax stil want to be based in California? Does is wife still run a church there? Is he still cheating on her?
He kind of melted. Does he even want the gig?

I talked with him about all of that and that the owner said that you can’t be hated by everyone in the building etc. His main point was that Jax gave them directionwhen they had none. I prefer the Knicks keep Miller and I prefer their don’t hire Jax but he would be my choice if it was Thibs or Jax. I do respect his opinion.

I do feel bad for miller that every other day he has to read or hear that he has almost no shot at keeping the job.

Not sure if i can put my heart and soul into something i know wont matter one way or the other.

Players don't really respect substitute teachers, hell..most kids don't either..

1248 the professional......

Are you kidding?

This guy:

In 2012–13, Miller was an assistant at UC Riverside.[2] In 2012, he was dismissed as head coach of Eastern Illinois.[3] He was previously the head coach at Texas State University–San Marcos, and was an assistant at Kansas State[4] from 2000 to 2005.

In October 2013, Miller was named an assistant coach at the Austin Toros.[5]

On October 7, 2015, the Westchester Knicks hired him to be their head coach.[6] While with the Knicks, Miller won the NBA G League Coach of the Year for the 2017–18 season.[7] After four seasons in Westchester, Miller was promoted to the New York Knicks as an assistant coach.

Miller was named the Knicks interim head coach on December 6, 2019.[9

This guy in 7 years at Eastern Fooking Illinois where he has a .366 winning %, gets an assistant gig with Spurs, gets a head job with Westchester where he ascents to COY, then promoted to the "Show", and now an NBA head coach with cred. Feel sorry for him? As for anything we read today the team would like to keep him on if they hire Thibs. Since neither of us were in the room when he was hired, I would guess he was given no assurances he'd be kept on, but he does have a contract that might pay him a guarantee, and he has done nothing but earn respect and build a solid reputation.
This is not like he was made "Interim assistant manager at Taco Bell", he is an NBA coach!!!
He will get paid to speak, guest at camps, and likely another NBA assistant coaching job but with a raise if knicks don't keep him.
Feel sorry for him?

LMAO. I was hell on all teachers. These Knick kids are responding well to Miller though. Seems like Miller is the Ultimate Proffesional and gives 100% to coaching these Knicks and getting them better no matter what his personal position is. He's all basketball. Never heard him say an unbasketball related thing, ever.

in Dotsons last 10 games he is shooting 50%, but didn't play last night.

Mike is sabotaging the knicks..going out with a bang..he started portis over mitch

His rotations are weird asf

Miller’s attempt at putting a positive spin on the outcome is understandable given he’s trying to make his case to be the permanent head coach. But not being able to beat the Sixers minus their two best players is more telling than being competitive for a half.
